Getting on and off the beds can be painful due to the high wooden bed frame, and I am relatively tall. The front door must be lockable. Would be nice to have unisex, male and female only dorms.

It’s very central and close to various means of transport. Including shops. The staff were professional, helpful, accommodating and friendly. The House is nice and old.

It was very clean, the bed mattress was of a good quality (rather hard), I had the four-bed shared bedroom as well as the shared bathroom all for myself. It’s right next to the train station and the city center. There are no common rooms as far as I know, so don’t expect to meet people. It’s more of a self check-in and self check-out, which was perfect for what I needed.

There were some technical hick-ups during self check-in but staff was assisting so everything worked out.

Very spacious room with comfortable bed. The accommodation is perfectly located just next to the train station and the city centre where many food- and shopping-options are available. The staff was friendly and very helpful when I experienced some check-in troubles.

Possibilities to store luggage after check-out is limited to the presence of bar personnel. No charging possibilities directly at the bed. Padlocks for the lockers are not provided.

Spacious room with comfortable bed. Room and other facilities were clean. The accommodation is perfectly located right next to the train station and the city center. There is a balcony for the guests. My room way quiet despite the bar located directly beneath.

- the bedrooms were not very clean. We found an underwear from previous clients in the room. - far way too expensive for what you get. Not worth the money. It's literally a auberge for the price of an expensive hotel. - bathroom is outside the room for everyone use one one wc for 4 rooms. Not worth for the price you pay - old building where you can hear every noise from all the clients. No privacy . - restaurant was closed and no one ever shower up at the réception window Not worth the money. It's literally a auberge for the price of an expensive hotel.

Check-in process is not good. Even if they don't do early check-in, there is no place to keep luggage, no one to even attend to you. Plan your travel carefully.

The place is very pretty

No bike storage had to bring my bike to a storage facility and carry all my packs no kitchen for cooking. Rooms were very hot and staff were not helpful and rude. If you are traveling by bike or back packing this is not a hostel

1. The bed and the bathroom are so clean, especially the bathroom has good smell. 2. They provide the free shampoo and the hair dryer. 3. The staff are so nice. Gave me the detailed introduction and recommendation of the beer. 4. Close to the Schaffhausen Bahnhof. I mean it's really close. 5. The sound insulation is good. 6. I'm lucky that it's only me this night.

No heating in the bathroom, no real sound proof- we could listen to the whole conversation of the guests on other room, doors extremely heavy slaming every time someone goes to the toilet...
