The hotel is very quiet, well placed with regard to shopping center, hospital of HFR, very clean, confortable and friendly staff ! Always plenty of space to safely park the car.

We wanted a place close to Fribourg and Bern but not in the city centre, calm, comfortable and not too expensive, with parking and breakfast. This place was all of this and met, or even exceeded the expectations. The personnel were kind, the room was basic (no TV as per their policy, few amenities) but very comfortable, the breakfast was very good, and the place has a charming atmosphere. From our room we could see a big garden with animals that they are recovering like Llamas. It was great

I understand the concept, but would liked having a TV. A bit of hustle and bustle during breakfast. Apparently here is always something to do in the hopes and they were arranging for a big event and everyone was everywhere and a but disturbing. Quite expensive, but still ok foe Zwitserland.

This is a very simple place in an ex-convent, which I have reviewed before. This was my second stay, and I was very happy. Everything works well, the breakfast starts early and is pretty good, actually. There is also ample parking available right next to the hotel. All nice and easy!

Little bit confusing road just outside the Lodge. The 2 roundabouts made us confused, but it's not a Lodge fault.

Nice place to take a break after a long journey if you are still far from your destination. We had another 4 hours drive, and this lodge gives us a great break. Breakfast was good as well.

I was expecting a little bit more variety in terms of breakfast and maybe the absence of air conditioning might be problematic in the hottest days. But it's just small details.

A building surrounded by nature, with also a restaurant. You can enjoy a nice breakfast and interact with the various animals outside the structure. It's an extremely peaceful place. Free parking available, which is a plus

The old-style room keys are a bit clunky and not as easy to handle as more modern keycards. The hotel layout is a bit unusual and my room was only reachable via terrace, and if you're tall you may have to protect your head on the way to the rooms as the ceiling is a bit low in certain places.

The location of the place is excellent and very quiet, and the view from the roof is breathtaking. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly as well, with a very nice introduction on how things work. The view from the breakfast restaurant is very nice as well. There is a spacious park around the venue that invites for a relaxing walk. The shared bathrooms were clean and in good shape. The value was off the charts on this one -- I got much more than what I expected and a nice stay for a very reasonable price.
