We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomWe enjoyed our stay very much, the location was fantastic and views were amazing. The room was clean and spacious with everything we needed with two rooms and big beds, beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our sleep every night. We especially enjoyed the pool, my younger son loved spending time in it every day, it was absolutely fantastic addition to our stay. Hosts were always ready to help with anything we needed, Jeff came to meet us as we arrived, showed us around and explained all the facilities available to us. We absolutely loved Doodle's chalet and hopefully would return without hesitation. 5 🌟

United KingdomOn our way to the accommodation coming from Austria, we received a message saying that the toilet in the basement room was broken but would be fixed the following day. The following day, it was replaced but the sink, the toilet and the shower started leaking. That about a whole day and a half going up two floors to use our friends toilet even late at night and having to shower in the sauna room because our shower was leaking. Kudos to Theo the handyman who thankfully sorted it out on the third day. The lighting on top floor and the basement rooms were a bit dark. On the top floor, you have two spotlights which weren't enough though they probably were meant to provide a relaxing atmosphere. The porch outside each of the rooms had no outside lighting.
The place was huge with a pool and sauna. The top floor had two double rooms one of which had an en suite and a mezzanine with a double bed. The basement part had two rooms divided by a curtain ( there was a sliding glass to provide some privacy but was it was stuck or just too hard to move. There was a wine cellar and fondue paraphernalia which we really enjoyed. There are washing machines and dryers in the place. Very near the lake as well and you feel really close to nature. Adequate parking space.

SingaporeConstruction activities in front of chalet that partially block the scenic view.
Good for travellers like us (family of 5). Owner is generous with the use of facilities such as washer and dryer and is very prompt to reply to queries. Chalet has a great view of mountain and lakes and close to bus stop. For muslim travellers, there is a kebab shop, near Walendstadt train station (5 minutes walk, opp migros)
