Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Construction works around the hotel that make the street around quite smelly but that us not the hotel fault and for the price the value was good

Not a big fan of no-frill hotels as they are not charged with no-frill pricing. I believe you should be able to find a better service hotel (at least with check-in, microwave, parking etc) at similar price.

The only air con was in the reception area. Normally not a prob but we were in a heat wave
It was easy to find and the auto registration straight forward. Our rooms were spacious and beds comfy. I liked the free luggage lockers which we needed on last day

The room was very hot, no AC. The bathroom was very small to the point that my boyfriend had to open the door to be able to wash his face and still splashed water on the floor.
Good location. Easy self check-in and checkout. Coffee machine in the entrance of the hotel and lockers which were a blessing.

It was easy to find, the instructions for check were easy to understand and find everything. However, it was pretty hot in the room and when we opened the windows we could hear really lod noise from the constructions right under our windows. Everything was clean and bed was comfy!

No AC and noisy when opening door to balcony, I didn't sleep very well. Also the curtain didn't close fully and let sunlight through. There was just a shower curtain between shower and toilet so things got wet.
The free lockers and self check-in was fine, the room was bare bones but ok

The bad for 2 persons are a bit small, only 2 hangers for your stuff, towels and wests what is not enough at all.
Nice quiet area with a lot of restaurants. Comfortable check in/out.

Met our expectations! Because of previous reviews I was hesitant about booking but could definitely book this hotel if we are coming back to Zürich! The rooms are simple and for the price I don’t think one should expect anything more. very little furniture, would have been nice with a shelf or maybe bench to put bag on.

Room was like a sauna while outside the temperature was better and in the room no airconditioning. Very small bathroom and showerhead with a mind of it’s own.

No air-conditioning and we came on a hot day. Rooms at lower floors cooler than upper floors.
Easy and advanced self checkin system. Elevator to each floor. Practical and comfortable rooms and bathroom. Close to the central station and tram. Many nice restaurants in the neighbourhoodhod

You have to wait for exactly 3pm for self check in. It feels weird to have absolutely no other furniture in the room apart from the bed - this provides space in the room but everything has to be on the floor - this isn't exactly a problem but just makes the room less welcoming
Has the bare minimal of what you need so can't really complain. Self check in was easy enough. Comfy bed and lots of space to unpack.
