Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandSelf-check in system was way too complicated and it didn't allow customers to redo anything if you couldn't do it the first time. It took each customer at least 15-20 minutes through those steps and there was no one there to assist. There was a lot of noise when people check in or check out moving their luggage on the wooden floor. The sink was so tiny we can hardly brush teeth or wash face without spilling water everywhere on the floor. There was nothing given in the room except bed, no table, no kettle, no chairs, just empty space.
Location is good, very convenient as it's not far from the main train station and bus station. Staff is really helpful when we couldn't do the self-check in although we had to borrow the phone of the shop keeper next door as our phone couldn't make international calls. Bed is comfy and the room is clean.

United Kingdomit felt a bit bare in the rooms, maybe a small table or a chair might help give it a more comfortable feeling.
I liked the location and that it was easy to get to. there were no staff to check in apart from the self serve machines which I liked as it was quick and efficient.

United KingdomThe bathroom is tiny, as other people have mentioned it was very uncomfortable but manageable, you get what you pay for! The beds are on the smaller side but we slept fine. No AC but luckily we had a fan which made it bearable. No table/chairs/fridge anywhere to put clothes, only two hangers like other people have mentioned. The location and price was what made me book, I never read any reviews prior to booking, luckily I read the reviews a day before flying so I knew what to expect and wasn’t surprised about the stay. After all you do get what you pay for! Switzerland is a very expensive country!
The location was great, walking distance to Sihlquai bus station which is what we wanted whilst booking. It was a self service booking, no reception staff, our check in went smoothly, no issues, however another guest who stayed at the time couldn’t check in and had to make a phone call. We couldn’t get in at 9.30am to leave our bags, which was disappointing. But when we came back to check in noticed other people had left their bags in the lockers, so not sure why the doors were left open as it wasn’t too early in the morning!

UkraineThe room is sooo hot and lack of fresh air, and no air conditioning or even a fan in it! There is a lot of ceiling space just above the beds, where the big ceiling fan can be installed easily - please, do this! Also no table at all, as long as chairs, despite there is a free space in room where you can place them (f.e. folding table attached to the wall). And no towel hangers at all, so we had to keep wet towels on the clothes hanger and put all our clothes on the floor.
The room is spaceous and very clean. Good power sockets incl USB ports near the beds. Perfect location not far from the central railway station and city center (you can walk or take a tram). Comfortable beds with very nice and clean sheets. Towels are soft and super clean too. Comfortable shower with good water pressure and clean drains. Also like the self check-in process with no need to talk with other people (and you can make 2 key cards for 1 room, which is very nice for couples). Wifi is on, but weak internet connection somethimes (depends on number of people is the hotel, I guess).

SwitzerlandI don't want to speak negatively about the cheapest hotel in Zürich.
It is a great place to spend in Zürich on a final night in Switzerland before flying out. If you moderate your expectations you will have a good time. The location is fantastic, the internet was fast, there were power points next to the bed, there was a lift, and the security of the building seemed good – there was nothing I felt missing.

United KingdomBed pillows were like pancakes and need either a lot more of them or some with substance. There were just 2 solid hangers fitted to the wall. The quirky bathroom layout was toilet, shower, sink in a row with divider shower curtain between each element. The room was long and the spare space could have had drawers, a chair and/or suitcase holder. Could have done with a fridge.
Large room with near roof location which afforded a view over rooftops towards Uetliberg. Exceptionally clean. Very hot and fans provided to help in the unseasonal weather. Plenty of cafes and bars nearby as well as convenience shops.
