Breakfast wasn’t the best

Amazing view and nice clean room

The bed was not comfortable. The place is a bit far from the train terminal but is served by a bus. 10 to 15 min walk though. The breakfast options were rather limited and not properly labelled. Most of the meats were pork, yet unlabelled. Some of the cutlery during breakfast did not look clean. No fridge in the room.

The view from our room was amazing. The room was very spacious with a nice balcony and a tub. A small river was nearby. It was lovely to sit outside and listen to the flow of water. There was parking in front of the property. Helpful staff though they seemed like they needed extra help.

Bathroom was dated and mattresses not the most comfortable. We had to take two buses to get to ski lifts (Terminal/Firstbahn).

Great stay in Grindelwald. We got upgraded to a mountain view room with balcony. Everything was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.

While one of the less expensive places in Grindelwald, it was not cheap. Last renovation must have been sone time ago; considering the price we would expect something a bit more modern.

Good location, far enough from the centre to be quiet but close enough to walk or bike. Nice little balcony and spectacular view. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Clean and everything working as expected.

The possibility to store shoes and skis at the "Central Sport" shop at the bottom of the slopes. The clerk at the reception was also super friendly. I came early and was allowed to check in at 10am, and also got a free croissant!

I was there for Eiger Ultra Trail which starts beyond the standard breakfast hours. The receptionist promised to pack a take-away breakfadt bag for me as he said they couldn’t serve us earlier. Next morning, there was no take-away bag for me and I found out that breakfast was served fir runners, but I didn’t have time as I was expecting a take-away bag.

The great view from the balcony and property located not too far from the train station although it is an upward walk from train station to the property. There is a scheduled free shuttle bus service from property to the train station area but last service is around 6pm. Staff is also very friendly, welcoming and helpful with information.

Facility a bit too old for the price you pay. Basic breakfast. Less flexibilty for early breakfast compared to other hotels in Grindelwald (for Eiger Ultra Trail runners)

Good location 10 minutes walk from the train station, slightly uphill and therefore with an amazing view on the Eiger. Big room but with basic equipment. International atmosphere is always a plus!

The location was good, a little bit away from the center but we were on a motorbike so it was fine. Breakfast was also good and there was great view from the breakfast room window. The Indian staff at the hotel were very friendly and cooperative. Overall good value for money.

Everything was good. small hotel, with very good buffet breakfast. Two sides view hotel, in our case we had a street. Parking slot availability, but not to all customers.

The hotel was not a hotel it was like a hostel, no reception person, parties every night all night loud music all night both night. No 1 working in the hotel after 8 in the evening so do groups that where staying in the hotel where visiting each other room all night.. knocking on doors.. very unsafe place to go with young family or small group of people.. the pictures of the hotel rooms are not the same when you arrive poor condition and not maintained. I would not recommend families or small groups to go. 25 minutes walk away from the main town.. breakfast the a poor selection and what was out was not fresh plus there was not many staff working to help or give feedback.

Balcony, my son said his bed was comfortable mine wasn’t rooms were not cleaned or maintain.
