Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

In the end it's a serviced apartment, not hotel. So no facilities. But it's perfect if you know

The only thing wrong was that we could not access any cutlery or plates, which required an extra cost we were unaware of, but I did go back through the apartment details and finally found it when I was digging deep. Let's say it is not up front and centre. It is the only place we have ever stayed at that advertised as an apartment, and you have to pay extra for the utensils. You could not even access a plate and knife to cut some fruit without paying extra. We were a family of five, too. This, unfortunately, was the only letdown; otherwise, I would have given it a 10.
The location was excellent, with the tram directly out the front. Rooms were very nice and the little touches were appreciated. E.g. Champagne bottle on New Year's Eve.

The towels and bathrobes smelled clean, however, had lots of hair on them for some reason. The suite was equipped with a kitchenette but in order to use it the guest must pay a nightly fee (which in my opinion feels unnecessary to be charged to use something already equipped in the suite).
The location, friendly staff, and the spaciousness of the suite we booked.

The apartment is spacious with a lot of storage spaces. Very good location, the tram is nearby and just 5 mins away from the city centre. The apartment is really clean and they have cleaning service daily including the weekend.

We didn’t like the shower area in the bathtub, the shower head direction is bit weird so when we shower, feeling bit uncomfortable and yet worried to splash the water everywhere
The area is clean and modern, spacious for family. Love the space.

The bed is a little too soft. But is alright for short stay.
Great location, just right in front of the tram stop. The breakfast is generous, room is big and comfortable. The hotel staffs are kind and friendly.

Having breakfast delivered to your suite at your preferred time was a nice touch vs the typical buffet style continental breakfast. The location is so convenient- close to the main train station and even better a tram stop located right outside. Daily housekeeping went above most 4 star hotels and everyone we interacted with was helpful and friendly.

They asked 20 CHF for kitchen to be open because it was locked so I couldn’t get access to knife, spoons and plates. This is my first time ever experience something like this.

For some reason all the cutlery was locked away, so even thought we could cook we had no plates cutlery to use? I was a little confused that we would have had to pay extra for the use of them.

Locked drawers and shelfs in the kitchen.
We loved breakfast in the room, the spacious size of the suite, fantastic view, and the privacy of the place and how quiet it was, and the robes were really cozy. Ladies at the reception were very helpful and friendly.

There is no exercise room, which is very important for some of us.
Location, spacious rooms, nearby attractions, and restaurants. The tram stops outside the hotel, which is very convenient. The view is beautiful of two rivers and mountains.
