Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

minor points: only 1 pillow per person on the bed. check in was somewhat confusing - having pre- filled in the form to check in I then had to present all documentation again at check in, having also received various messages in the days before check in. Minor and in no way impacted our stay. tea cups in the room are pretty but they get too hot to hold without a handle when they have boiling water inside.
very central location, easy 6 min walk from main train station. spotlessly clean room, comfortable beds, perfect for one night stay. best shower pressure we have ever had in an hotel.

The hair and body shampoo was empty in all 3 rooms we booked and not refilled. Pillow is way too soft.
This hotel is located within walking distance to all the shops, supermarkets and old town. Interior of the hotel and room look very new and modern. Despite the room is small they have made well use of every single space providing the maximum comfort to guests. Private carpark is also provided to us at a cost of CHF 30/night. Would certainly stay here again if we return to Zurich next time :)

Reception: it was really unhelpful from the staff - I ask urgently to change a few euros to coins in order to pay for the parking and got the answer that they didn’t have coins and didn’t accept euro, lady (Eleni) recommended to go the central station and solve this problem- perfect decision and she is full of help; BUT later in 10 mins I tried to pay for city tax and their system didn’t accept my applepay and card several times and they offered to pay in euros and returned me a lot of coins as a charge ;) ridiculous!!! Super unprofessional behavior! I have never seen such unhelpful behavior from the reception! Internet speed is also very low and bad quality! Room 312: the drain in the sink does not work, no one fixed it for 2 days of stay

Price & Room Size otherwise its a great place for the short stay
Location is in the heart of Old Town, Few mint. walk to HB Train Station and walking distance to everything. Only one downfall was very small rooms for the price. Otherwise Good breakfast and best coffe in town. Special Thanks to the reciption staff they make my day and book me all atractions from the comfort of your hotel. Thank you and looking to return back in Spring Breaks ISA

The room is relatively smaller as it's located near the Zurich HB, there is a construction right infront of our room and they start to work very earlier in the morning thus it's very noisy delivering stones and woke us up. The room is pricy too and no breakfast included. There are a few bars downstairs the street, thus may need to be careful when traveling alone especially for single ladies for safety.
The location is conveninet and near to the Zurich Main Train station, the hotel design is nice, with quite a lot paintings which has a story behind it. We didn't have a chance to understand it as time limitation and it's not in English, but I believe it is a beautiful story. The hotel offers to keep our luggage after we check out, which really helps us on our tour during the day time before we leaving Zurich to the airport at night.
