Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was a bit overpriced.
It was very new everything, nice entry, lovely staff and they were super lovely that they allowed us to do the check-in earlier and they had our room prepared. Everything honestly was perfect, very clean and close to all the important places.

Great customer service, great location, and cleanliness was top and was very comfortable. Few minutes walk the centre, to the Zurich main station and all the sight seen and shops.. I positively recommend it!!

Fantastic! The bed is comfortable and interior decorating is cozy. Service is absolutely great but have some problem with their payment system. The location is near Zurich HB.

The online check-in didn't work and they didn't have a 24-hour reception desk (I had to go next door).
The price was great, the location could not be more central, and despite the location, the room was exceptionally quiet. The bed was also comfy and the room was clean. I didn't have breakfast but it looked yummy.

Have a gym would be nice as the room wouldn't accommodate even a good stretch

The only thing I had issues with was the soundproofing. I could hear a guest in the next room talking on the phone over the speakerphone. I could even hear someone walking in the room above me in the middle of the night, which woke me up. But this only happened on the second night of my two-night stay.
The location was perfect. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Room was very clean and breakfast very nice.

Very clean, pretty aesthetic. Close to train station, lots of places to eat, and top zurich sights. Breakfast Buffett was very tasty. Lots of selection.

Room was small for the price but that's Zurich. it was laid out well.
Great location in the center of the Old Town. Lots's of sights, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. Also, had a cough so the free Ricola at reception were a welcome surprise.

It would be better to have a variety of food during breakfast. Also, an extra pillow would be lovely for the guests but it wouldn’t affect the great experience we had.
The property is located centrally to everything, such as trams, trains and restaurants and cafe shops. The staff were friendly and accomodating and were helpful to give us directions and recommendations on where to go and what to do. The room was decent and and the bed was comfortable as well. The toilet was also clean. There’s also bottled water provided as well as tea and coffee. Food was also sumptous during breakfast.
