The property was in an excellent location and consisted of three really good size double rooms, one ensuite bathroom and two separate bathrooms. Good size living area including lounge and kitchen. All the furnishings were a good quality.

The bedroom heater was not strong enough so the bedroom is still quite cold at around 18C. The rest was an awesome experience to stay.

The place is clean, spacious and convenient. There are several restaurants nearby, convenient stores and bakery store in walking distance, quite at night, laundry room at the basement and also ski room. Anita is very helpful and responsive to every message that I sent. Recommended place to stay.

Drier in basement malfunctioned due to clogged filters. No vacuum cleaner to hand-the floors became dusty and gritty after 2-3 days.

There are multiple apartments listed for the Matterhorngruss, including two 3-bedroom apartments, one on the first floor and one on the fourth floor. I found the booking.com description confusing as to which apartment I was looking at, and inadvertently booked the first floor when I wanted the fourth floor (first floor has a beautiful terrace but no Matterhorn view). I contacted the owner, Anita, directly, and she was able to make sure we got the fourth floor.

Just a clarification - this review is of the 4th floor apartment in the Matterhorngruss, not the first floor (there was some confusion). This is a beautiful, bright, updated apartment in a good location with a great view of the Matterhorn. It was wonderful to have a 3 bedroom place with 3 bathrooms, so no one had to share. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and appliances (even a fondue pot, which we used!). Everything was clean and beds were very comfortable. Great views out of all four sides of the apartment, and each bedroom had its own balcony, as well as a main balcony off the dining/living area (which had the Matterhorn view). The manager, Anita, was lovely and checked in on us regularly. The location is very good, near one of the main lifts and 7-10 minute walk to downtown. Especially nice that you don't have to climb a big hill to get to the apartments, unlike many other places in Zermatt. There's a bakery and a mini-food market nearby, which was great, as it's about a 10-minute walk to the larger grocery stores. We would definitely stay again.

I like the bed this is so comfortable! Have almost all the cooking stuff in the kitchen. And the view is stunning facing the Matterhorn, i can relax whole day in the apartment.

Description of facilities - washing machine/dryer was at basement and not in apartment ( most accommodation have the appliances in the premise ). Likewise, the microwave was missing in the kitchen - was quickly brought in upon request though. Despite these minor shortcomings, it would not have deterred me for booking if I was aware of these beforehand.

The location - easy to get to and clear view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. Clean and well maintained modern apartment. Lift to apartment. 2 sets of keys. Constant hot water in shower. Good insulation - apartment was warm & cosy. Quick responsive communications with host.

There werent any carpet in the rooms or the living room. It would be nice if there were. Some of the chairs didnt have pads underneath them we were afraid to make to much noice for the neighbours under us. There wasnt a cleaning mop we couldnt clean the floor.Mostly needed for the kitchen floor.

Everything was perfect, very clean .you have all we need in the apartment. Very comfortable beds. The host answers questions quickly. The apartment is in very good location … 300m to bus shuttle for the ski lifts, 600m to the center of zermatt , 1 km to train station. Beautiful wiev of the Matterhorn in the living room

Only one room had an en-suite bathroom and the other two bathrooms were in the corridor. Not a huge problem when traveling with family.

Location was very good. Just a 5 to 10 minute walk from Bahnhofstrasse, which was the main street in Zermatt. Apartment was comfortable. We had the ground floor 3 x bedroom apartment. The host Anita was easy to communicate with and very responsive. She came and checked on us a few times during the stay. There was an issue with some of the outlets not working, which was quickly fixed. Two of the bathrooms were updated and nicely designed. Fire place in the living room was nice and firewood was readily available for some cozy evenings.

There is no bad point.

The room was large and clean. Various kinds of seasonings have been increased, including soy sauce. He came to replace the towel on the third day. There is a shared washing machine. I need 2 CHF to wash it, but he lent me 10 CHF in coins, called a taxi, and responded very kindly. It's the best apartment for Japanese people.

Soft pillows!

Great flat in quiet but central location in Zermatt. Well equipped kitchen. Great outdoor seating area. Appreciated the 3 bathrooms. Anita and husband were great hosts.
