The staff are very nice and helped me upgrade from the 4-bed dorm to the 3-bed dorm very easily. The upstairs balcony has a really cool view of the city and is a nice place to hang out for a few hours. The 3-bed dorm has its own toilet and some curtains, so the additional privacy/comfort is worth it for the small upgrade

If you carry luggage 🧳 with wheels, it's gonna be a bit of a struggle as you would go through the cobbled street up and down the hill. It was quite arduous. It says 20 mins walk but it ended up like 40 mins. When I got there, I really thought that the receptionist would be friendly as the hostel name is but it was a bit of a stretch haha she was nice but more like a German police in the 1940s haha very dogmatic, rigid and robotic and rush through the guidelines without being friendly. Anyway because of the cobbled street journey I had, I got tired and missed the boat trip around the lake that I was looking to go to but it was fine. It can get a bit noisy as the street is literally down there. Lots of stairs. I didn't know that I've to make my own beds and strip it off so just bear in mind the time you would have to spend both ways when booking this hostel. Also there was a man sleeping at 3/4pm in the top floor terrace so that was a bit strange.

I had a 3 beds in a room with the toilet facility which was great. The other roommates were nice. Location was great.

One night, a guy came in who smelled really bad, leaving the room smelling awful. I had to sleep in the living room. It should be mandatory that if you arrive like that, you have to shower before going to your room. Otherwise, the hostel is nice and clean, the room is super spacious, the owner is amazing, and the bathrooms are amazing too. There's no elevator, and you have to climb four floors.

The luggage storing place should be in the ground floor and the current storing place at the first floor is very unsecured as anyone can walk out with your luggage at any hour of the day and night.During checkout the host should be there to see what all luggages the boarder is taking with him or her.

Not so comfortable to think to eat hier. The place has three or four levels, you have to go up in narrow stairs. To go and use the kitchen you have to go to the last level that has a small microwave and not really comfortable place to eat. We arrived late and couldn't really enjoy a nice meal. The people tried to be helpful.

Very central and comfortable for traveling with friends and limited budget. Has everything you need for a short trip.

There are only 2 bathrooms for like 20 people, sometimes I had to stay in a line to take a shower. The lockers in the rooms are too small, and it didnt fit my backpack. Even if the name of the hostel is Friendly, the staff was the most unfriendly in all hostels I stayed in Europe :(

The location is perfect!!!! The beds are really comfortable and we had a lot of plugs for chargers. Also, the room was very big.

In the morning, because of the number of the people, hot water were not available. But the hostel were tried to help.
