Shower and toilet were not seperate and there is only one shared per floor so that could be a problem in some situations. Depending on what shaped charger heads you have it could be an issue. Near the beds was just room for a narrow charger head.

Good location. Good sized room. Comfy bed, good pillow, warm doona. Good shower. Kitchen. Windows could be opened, unlike many other hostels.

We arrived at 11 pm and there is no one at the reception anymore. We panicked since we do not know how we can get in (it took us around 30 minutes outside to contact their staff so that we can have a place to stay for the night). Fortunately, we were able to reach someone before 12 midnight. As such, if you will arrive late, I suggest that you call beforehand to avoid unnecessary panic. Things went smooth after we were able to go in since the room where we stayed at was very neat :)

The room and bathrooms available were very neat and clean. It's close to the train station, too.

I was shocked to find the extra day I had requested was not booked. I do not understand German and all communication was in German, do I misunderstood that reserve was in the imperative, not the declarative. The receptionist at the site knew neither English or German well. Also there were so many stairs to get anywhere. The ktchen was so small only one person could use it at a time.

The only real downside was I had to share with two loud-snoring men. It would have been nice if there was a female-only room, but perhaps not easy to organise in a small hostel. The only communal area I could find was a tiny kitchen right at the top which was OK for making tea, but I guess understandable perhaps as only a small hostel in an expensive area.

The kitchen is quite small and you can't really cook. But you can boil water, use a fridge and heat in the microwave. There is only stairs in case you carry heavy lugagge, ask for help if needed

There's not enough bathrooms or showers for the number of guests (there's like 2 showers and 3 toilets), and the kitchen is pretty tiny. The staff speak very limited English, considering how popular a tourist city Zurich is.

The location is really in the centre of everything, in the gorgeous old town neighbourhood. It's also one of the best prices you will find for a bed in Zurich. The rooms are kept clean.

only downside is it can be quite noisy due to the church bells very nearby and general street noise.

a fantastic location perfect for easily visiting the sights of Zurich, couldn’t be a better location. everywhere was spotlessly clean and smelt lovely. the host was very friendly and accommodating, and the laundry service was very helpful. decently stocked kitchen and lovely roof terrace for drinking tea and coffee or having breakfast in the sun. wouldn’t hesitate to return.

It was very hard to find! I had the added difficulty of not having my phone with me, which made it even worse, but I think the location description could be improved - the front door is shared with another shop!

It’s in the centre of Zurich, a five minute walk from the live street music (the night I was there, anyway) and about ten minutes from the train station. My room only had two other people in it, which meant we got to know each other pretty quickly. The manager was amazing, he helped me wash my clothes and even dried and packed them for me because I wasn’t there at the time!

The room didn't close properly, we had to shut the door several times for it to work. What is more, there are no keys from the door or any lockers and it is possible for anyone to enter it, so be cautious with your belongings.

The hostel is located close to the train and bus station near the river in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. The staff is friendly and helpful, when I came it was pouring with rain and the owner let me borrow an umbrella. The bathroom was in perfect condition and had everything possibly needed inside (shower gel, shampoo, soap)

A lot of stairs. We arrived later in the evening, but still before Reception closed, but the reception door was locked and they didn’t respond to phone calls. It was a bit strange. We waited around 20 minutes until a staff member finally arrived and found us waiting. It was a bit worrisome to wonder if we were going to have to try to find last minute accomodation because it was already evening at that time. Curtain rod for the window fell off the wall so we didn’t have a curtain to block our outdoor light during our stay. Some of the guests were questionable, but that’s hostel life I guess. There’s an oddball who would sleep on the couch up in the communal TV area and would blast foreign music videos all day and night, smoke indoors, and be on the booze right at morning. Then he get pissed off for waking him in the morning because we wanted to have a coffee on the rooftop terrace.

The property is in a wonderful location. Zurich is a very expensive and the price of this property is way cheaper than other accomodation options s Staff helped carry my bag up the stairs. Decently clean feeling for a hostel. Beds were decent as well.

The location was perfect with everything you need around. As well as staff was friendly and the people around staying there. Perfect for backpackers and short stays.

I was not given the key to the wardrobe provided to keep personal (valuable) belonging. Instead l was told to keep my things under the bunk.

Check in and check out were smooth. The free Wi-fi was excellent. Kitchen provision was also good. It enabled me to warm my food with microwave. The quiet atmosphere after 10pm was superb.
