At the time of my stay, there was a construction site across the street that made the way to the town center a bit longer. Also, they started early in the morning and woke me up. This is of course not the owner's fault and doesn't reflect on my rating of the stay.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, uncomplicated check-out. The room was as described and clean. The breakfast was good and there was plenty.

It's not the most modern in decor, but that really wasn't an issue. It's very warm and cosy!

What a lovely little place! The owner is a lovely lady, very warm and welcoming, and the place is very homely. Breakfast choice was limited but absolutely delicious! Yoghurt, fresh bread, huge selection of jams, fresh meat and cheese, and a croissant. Plus juice and coffee. All very nice indeed. Our bathroom was petite but clean and bright and the shower was very good. The shower gel provided smells divine too! Sargans is just the most beautiful little town, I thoroughly recommend a trip here!

Its quite far for a 20 mins walk from Sargans station to the hotel. And also, no one is there when I arrived at the hotel. So I had to call the property to inform them that I was already at the front door. Literaly no one! I think I am the only guest during my entire stay. Its a little bit creepy. When I entered, it was so dark inside. The internet was a little bit slow.

The hotel is nice. I had a very good 2 nights stay.

Breakfast was OK, would have liked some fresh fruit or cereals in addition to the bread and croissants.

One of the cleanest hotels we've ever stopped in, the room was absolutely spotless. Comfortable bed, good TV, good shower although could have done with a shower curtain to help stop getting water on the floor. Amazing location, Sargans is beautiful, surrounded by mountains. Some very pretty typical Swiss buildings, a castle and a couple of lovely churches. Staff, friendly and efficient. Lots parking, easy to find.

poor breakfast, only 2 dcl of juice per person,missing fruits or vegetable, they offered the jourt after the expiration date, the staff was not nice and behaved like a prison guard, rooms require some maintenance

The reservation I had was not the same date as the hotel had. But it got sorted out. However, when it's stated on the hotel's Booking page that they have a restaurant/bar, it would be nice to know when they have their "ruhe tag". I have yet to see this info on any page, but it is absolutely crucial info for me when booking. (Unfortunately this was not the only hotel with ruhe tag.)

Two middle aged couples on an 18-day 12 hotel road trip thru DE-CH-IT-CH-DE. This was our 9th stop. Being one of the cheaper hotels, we were really surprised to find the hotel closed when we arrived. Met a hiker though who told us that we should have recieved a code via mail to enter into the hotel. No such code was found. I called the hotel# and was told they'll arrive to sort it out. A nice lady turned up and gave us the keys. We also had drinks in the bar once we checked in. The two ladies taking care of us were very nice.

So used to a 3pm check-in everywhere that I didn't realize we should have messaged the hotel to alert them that we would be arriving before the 5pm check in stated in the reservation. Despite a few language problems (my German wasn't up to the task) we managed to get in remotely via the key machine at the entrance. Room size was just about ok (though the view from the window was stunning) but we were disappointed by poly-cotton sheets etc. Breakfast was continental style and a bit limited in terms of options. Only saw staff - the owner I think - at breakfast.

The beautiful views from our room window were stunning and the small hotel was nice and quiet. Very clean everywhere and the shower room/toilet was small but well laid out. TV channels included several anglophone ones (BBC etc) The coffee served with breakfast was very good. A 20 minute walk from the station.
