It's said that the wifi would be available in all rooms, but in our room (number 7) there was no wifi because it was at the upper corner, out of reach, we had to sit in the hallway to get wifi

We booked last minute and got a small room on the last floor which got very hot and which was overlooking the road and it was noisy. The hotel is simple but well kept although the restaurant was closed. Breakfast is homemade and nice with a good choice.

Staff of the Gasthof is very kind and friendly. The rooms are quite big and clean. Breakfast is buffet with not a lot of things but fine. Parking spot free

Breakfast was provided but was fairly basic (would probably be better when the restaurant was fully functioning?). The room’s en suite was fine but there’s no door, so some people might not like the lack of privacy!

Our room was just as pictured and the key was left out for us in the hallway when we arrived. The guesthouse restaurant was closed, but luckily the room had a large private terrace which caught the evening sunshine, so we bought food for a picnic meal, as little else seemed to be open in the village apart from the small supermarket. The price of the room was reasonable by Swiss standards.

Flies on the breakfast. Monday morning breakfast was not a very large choice of foods, though it included cheese and ham.

The budget double room was facing NW and was cool even without a/c in hot weather. Traditional wooden building. Good size room, small bathroom. Mountain view. Quiet. Comfortable beds. I think it must have been a working farm as our bikes were stored in the cowshed. Nice evening meal in the restaurant, which seemed popular and busy on a Sunday. No lift.

The breakfast was superb. Our warm welcome from Anna was delightful.

Everything. No toiletries to speak of, no service… just terrible. And EXPENSIVE for a low quality abode.

No evening meal as advertised, No wifi, no tv as advertised, poor breakfast. Avoid like the plague. Had to walk 15 mins in the looting rain to get an evening meal, although they advertised a restaurant.

old fashioned hotel just 2 blocks from train station. good breakfast, good beer. comfortable room. shower worked!!! staff were willing to try and interpret my Engl-Deutsch-3 years of Hoch Deutsch in college nearly 60 years ago was not enough. We were very late after a tedious bus ride to a hotel miles from Oey. Anna Kurtz was kind enough to wait until we arrived via a taxi.

On arrival we were told quite abruptly that we had to be in the restaurant and ordering by 7 as the kitchen closed at 7.30. we arrived at 6.30. the food was good ‘however the flies were terrible. there were hundreds of them in the restaurant. in the morning we came down to breakfast which had flies on the bread, butter and cheese and ham. some were trapped between the film covering the cheese! they need to do something about the flies it was very unhygienic. Finally we were in room 7 and the WiFi didn’t reach our room.

the property is really cozy and gives you an amazing vibe of traditional houses in the region. bed was super comfortable and all amenities were clean and breakfast was amazing!
