at night there were strong lights on the hallway. they should switch them off. on the other hand, there should be clearer norms of no noise at night. many people were very noisy outside the rooms at high hours of the night

The beds were free standing bunk beds that weren't attached to the wall or anything so you felt every movement of the other person. When I was climbing onto the top bunk it felt like the whole bed would topple over. Also no curtains which I never understand!

I had a early train. So I went to breakfast at 6.30 am, with my 2 suitcases. It was a bit difficult to get thru the restricted turn stile entrance, at the entrance of Breakfast room. Also out again. I wanted to not miss My train, so was trying to leave as early as I could. Have breakfast quick as I could. As you have to get a bus or walk. I got bus to station.

It was about 9 days ago. I do not remember any Problem. It was easy for the train station, bus, lake. A Lidl was walking distance. I liked the mountain and Lake view from my domitory room! I liked the Breakfast included.

Dryer or paper towel should have been provided in the bathrooms. Napkins in the dining room.

Spaciousness of the lobby where you could wait comfortably. Also the fact that there was a kitchen available for usage. Latly, that lockers were provided beside each room for us to store our belongings.

The wifi connection was poor on my room. The beds don’t have curtains for privacy. The shower will stop when you stop pushing down the button. No eggs at the breakfast.

For sure it is not the hostel where you could quietly relax or sleep. First of all, the noise protection does not exist in this hostel, because, you could hear all night long people walking in the corridor, elevator working and DOORS SLAMMING so loudly. Second, their rule to put the bedsheets by yourself is a bit uncomfortable, I do understand it safes cleaning time, but it is the hostel, some people are checking in 1am and placing the bedsheets and some people checking out at 3am and again, taking off the bedsheets, turning the light, making the noise. I am not that picky, stayed in many party hostels, but there is not even a party, just loud WC doors slamming, so all walls start shaking and strange procedures...

The vending machines accept only cash, no other way to buy a coke late in the evening. I only had card. The guy at the reception in the evening was alone and overloaded.

The amenities are clean and for a hostel very good. I also liked the fact that I had a locker closed and opened by my key card. The staff was great, I was leaving early and they offered me to make lunch to go and were disappointed that I did not have time to wait for it.

Long waiting time at the reception, usually because there was only 1 person, for a dormitory bed that costs €50 I think you can spend some money on hiring another person at least. Rooms were getting all the noise from the corridor

Great open-buffet breakfast included in price and overall excellent price. The Geneva public transport given to visitors makes touring the city much easier (and probably cheaper).
