Shower was tight and it was disconcertingly easy to knock the shower door off the track. A refrigerator would h ave been helpful - I’m diabetic and had to make other plans for keeping my insulin cool.

Very helpful with getting around town. The view from the balcony was stunning. Have coin operated washer/dryer. Staff was great. Much storage space for clothes and luggage. Could print tickets to the Jungfraujoch at the front desk.

Very silent room, room view was really nice, dinner and breakfast were really good and very attent to detail. Check-in very fast, and thanks a lot for keeping our bags after check-out; this was a great help. Bus stop in front of hotel in both directions, so very easy to arrive from main station.

The staff were all delightful - we had a wonderful stay. The food at the hotel itself was fantastic, as was the nearby Fiescherblick, the best meal we had in Switzerland. Highly recommended

Such a beautiful stay with rustic charm right in the heart of Grindelwald! Thank you to the super lovely staff who were very accomodating, even checking in on us the day we arrived in Grindelwald and offering us a lift from the station to the hotel was greatly appreciated!! To wake up to the incredible views of the mountains from right outside our room balcony was surreal! 😍

Rooms are small which is to be expected in this style hotel. We slept with the window open but a fan to help with air circulation would have been a great bonus.

We loved this hotel. The owners were so accommodating and welcoming. They were also so helpful with booking tickets for the local trains and trams - unless you already know what you are doing it’s so much easier having them book tickets for you and it’s either the same price or cheaper. Our room was beautifully updated and had a gorgeous view of the mountains. They serve an excellent breakfast. We will definitely stay here on our next trip!

Beautiful, traditional building in a wonderful quiet location with views to die for!! Town within walking distance. The family that run the hotel and all staff are so friendly and helpful. The owner even helped me track down a real cow bell to purchase!!❤️

Nothing! The bed was firm and two seperate mattresses pushed together rather than a double or queen mattress, but i found this to be standard everywhere we stayed in italy and Switzerland so got used to it. Highly recommend this hotel

The hotel is charming, so much history and character. The staff were very welcoming. Our room was large with direct access to balcony. The bathroom was very modern. We had 3 course set dinner with wine as well as the breakfast, loved the food!

Outstanding experience in every way! The owners and service staff are all courteous, responsive, effective, and very helpful. The dinners at the property are also excellent and reasonably priced. The view out to the glacier is second-to-none. Location is right at the church bus stop — very convenient.

I find this hotel as a really great swiss traditional hotel. The hotel rooms have really great views. I had a single room, but the size of the room was just fantastic with a mountain view. I arrived on the swiss national day. The hotel was very nice decorated, the stuff had very nice swiss national clothes. The stuff is very nice. The breakfast room is very nice as well and the breakfast is nice, where you can try the local cheese as well.
