The food is cheap, dull, poorly prepared and insipid. The worst food I’ve had in years and both, the presentation and the taste are completely disappointing. They put zero effort into preparing the food. DO NOT EAT HERE. It’s a waste of your money. Literally any sandwich from a supermarket is better than their food.

The location is great and most of the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and had a great view. We were able to leave our luggage to go for a walk while we waited for the check in and after the check out.

The shower room was up above, my floor, and basic, but did the job. The whole place is throughly cleaned however.

Warm welcome from ALL in the Team, excellent cheery communication and this soon felt like a super place. Not a formal hotel, more casual, very busy, many nations visiting at same time though mainly a Basejumper pub base, there are families and quite a mix. Food menu is good value, served quickly alcohol-free available or extensive beer range. Open until late. If you want any hints about the area, connections, plans, just ask the Team.

Shower cubicle could do with a refresh. It's a reasonable walk to the railway station if you're lugging ski kit. It would have been wonderful if the pub opened earlier in the morning so that we could grab breakfast on-site. 9am is a bit later for skiers.

Beds were comfortable, heating worked well, there was plenty of storage space. Pub downstairs was a cosy spot and we weren't bothered by noise at all. The waterfall is pretty amazing.

Even though the pub wasn't that busy, the staff was ignoring us at first so I was so confused that I thought I came to the wrong place to check in. And then she explained too fast everything that I had to know as like rapping. Even though I could understood by double checking, but felt like unwelcomed. And we could hear sound very vividly from the next room.

Since there is only 1 shared toilet, if someone is already using the loo, you have to wait till they come out. The shower in the room was quite small, but it was manageable.

The room really exceeded our expectation, it was very comfortable and clean. We had a room with our own shower but You have to use a shared toilet (separate for men and women)The shared toilet was also very clean. It was not noisy at all and we enjoyed our stay.

Our room had a view of the falls and it was wow.. I had worries about the shared restroom but it was very very clean and it is shared by small number of rooms. What was great about it was the pub as well It was right before the high season. Almost all restaurants were closed except Hornerpub. The food the pub atmosphere with christmas decorations have made our evening!

It is nothing to do with this property but many things are shut this time of year. On the level we were on it would be better if it was a separate shower and toilet rather than it being combined

WiFi connectivity for my room was intermittent. It seems to drop on-and-off, so I had to resort to using my phone's hotspot for connectivity most of the time. I had a similar issue in my previous stay, but it was not so unstable then. I suspect it's because my room this time was further away from the floor entrance, where the WiFi connectivity seemed to be stronger. It would be great if the WiFi will be better; for others, and also, hopefully by the next time I stay here again :)

Location: It's Lauterbrunnen. Beautiful valley, and very much wonderfully quaint. Room: I liked it. The window has a nice view of the valley and the road leading out towards the Trümmelbach direction. The ambience and the space was very pleasant for me. This is actually my 2nd time staying here. I really liked this place previously, so I came back to here again! I do intend to come back again and make it a 3rd time, if I can.

We wished there was some sort of a kitchen set up available to guests, either in our room or somewhere in the building to allow us to make some of our meals. Because Switzerland is expensive for travellers making your own meals is a way to make the trip more budget friendly. There is a kettle in your room which allows you to make tea & instant oatmeal for the morning time if you wish.

Our stay at the Horner pub was wonderful! It’s a great location, the accommodation is exactly how they describe online. Our room was better than the pictures! Shared bathrooms are cleaned every day and women + men have separate ones, they always felt very clean. The locations is perfect if you’re looking to adventure, tons of hiking and exploring in the area, close to many cute villages. The people were very nice! The pub is very lively, keep this in mind if travelling during tourist months I imagine it could get loud. We found the noise okay during off season but could hear people on our floor moving around in the night.

the noise is unbearable. also there's no coffee in the early morning because the pub opens after 9 and had to go to COOP before I start my day.

The hotel was cheap if you think where it is and if you compare other accomodation. They say from the beginning you book, that if you can't handle the noise from the pub you'd better cancel the bookig. I had no other option availabe and affordable so, I decided to stay. On Saturday it was unberable. I woke up at 6:30 because I wanted to explore all the area and I was trying to sleep since 21:00 but...worthless... The room was nice, the view very good and the staff at the pub very friendly. On Sunday I managed to sleep a little beter.

The metal frames of the beds are noisy when you turn at night. 😴

The hotel is just next to the waterfall. Lovely view from our room. Although the accommodation is basic, we loved our stay here.
