Everything was fantastic, so I don't have any complaints! :)

When we checked in we had arrived from our wedding ceremony, so we were still all dressed up. The person checking us in gave us a free drink voucher to celebrate the occasion, which was super nice! She answered all of our questions thoroughly and instructed us on how to use the complimentary bus pass to catch the bus to the airport the next morning (we had a super early flight to catch). She also made sure we had prepared lunches in the morning since we were going to be up earlier than breakfast would be available. All of this made the following morning a breeze for us.

Many things were not suitable with the hotel price: 1. " Double bed" is two single bed, i.e. a big hole in the middle. 2 - the cleaners do not Have time enough to do a good job 3 - the Room card stopped to work sunddenly. 4 - there's no restaurant in-site, we had to eat in the next door Novotel 5 - no glasses in the Bath Room 6 - TV without cast, few English channels

The door to the bathroom which was a double door which didn't close properly so not much privacy in bathroom. Would have liked a dim light in bathroom for night trips...very bright lights so woke me up in the night. Not many plug sockets in room.

Fabulous hotel, so close to tram links so it was easy to get around. Staff were amazingly helpful at hotel and very friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel was clean, warm and modern. Lovely coffee and lemon water in reception. Will definitely return, thank you

The sofa bed was not that confortable for sleeping. There were only a few hangers in the room, it would be useful to add a hanger for outdoor jackets for example.

The hotel was new and very clean. The breakfast was nice and the location very good, next to the train station. 11 tram which is 3 minutes away takes you to all the places of interest in Basel. We were very happy with our stay, good value for money.

no work area in the room, no ironing possibility, room was not made one day out of six, telephone in the room didn’t work, no washing service during saturday and sunday. room was dark. I asked on check in to fold back the sofa bed, but it was not done throughout. the breakfast was basic

Horrible hygiene. Room smelling like wet dog! Not acceptable to be pet friendly and have carpet in the floor. Bathroom curtains strongly smelling like a stinky dog. I asked to change rooms and the second one offered smelled less badly, but still very bad.

we stayed here and on arrival drew rthe curtains, the shower/washroom area had non and we therefore thought it was reflective glass. we then later found after showering that it was not and people could see from outside. we questioned the staff who contacted the hotel manager who said a workman would check the following day...we checked later that evening to find several people showering in plain view of the public. the following morning we again spoke to staff who then indicated were the shutter switches where located, no information was available in the room or literature for these, the staff did not care about my wifes embarresment and treated us like idiots.......not a freindly or organised place at all, with a beligerent hotel manager. The hotel is well away from any other facilities and backs on to a busy railway station.

The breakfast is great. The location near the tram stop. The tea and coffee in the reception and the all round vibe of the hotel. The staff are very helpful.
