Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very expensive for what it offers, food quite pricey as well.
Close to the airport, convenient when you miss your connection flight due to delays.

It’s bus no 5 to the airport or a 15 min walk . Both east but not entirely clear
Very handy for the airport and everything a traveller would need - including late opening bar and food.

I booked at the Styles, I was traveling from Bangok via Vienna arriving late and informed for a 2200 hrs check in.I prepaid for the whole stay. The Vienna flight leg was delayed by 2 hours so I checked in after midnight to find that my room had been given away. I was transport to the Novotel, which I declined, reception found a room next door for the initial night at the Ibis Budget and 1 star hotel. The only compensation offered was a free continental breakfast.

The room didn’t have a kettle or coffee facilities and it was very limited on plugs. It was also quite tricky to locate being on the Swiss side

It was a bit far away from the airport by foot and the taxi I wanted to take wouldn’t take me there
- reception was open 24/7 - the bar served snacks and drinks after midnight - breakfast buffet was outstanding with lots of choices

The rooms are pretty dark as if they are going for some sort of mood lighting, or maybe it's ESG? I could've used some more light when packing/unpacking. It's also not close to anything besides the airport. You'll have to bus to get into town. Not a complaint. An observation. They do have a restaurant/bar on premises.
A short walk takes you from the airport to the hotel. They'll give you a bus pass you can use while staying there as well. Those two things combine make this a good choice if you're on a budget.

The transfer from the train station at the airport was difficult as the bus stop to use at the airport was not clear so we ended up going the wrong way to start, the stop to get off at was also not clear (the bus missed the original stop), and then it was not obvious how to walk to the hotel. By constrast the trip from the hotel to the airport by bus was very easy!
The rooms were clean. They were close together as we asked. The staff were helpful, and check in was quick and easy. Access to the city centre by bus was quick and simple which made for a nice night out.

The bathroom showers are little inconvenient/creates a bit of a watery mess due to there not being any shower doors (it’s a more modern, minimalistic style of the glass barrier only covering the shower area half-way). This is not a big deal and wouldn’t stop me from staying here again necessarily. I was able to figure out a way to minimize the amount of water getting on the bathroom floor.
Great location with the hotel being super close to the airport and easy transport to the rest of Geneva (hotel gave us free transport cards which was wonderful). The staff was really friendly, the free breakfast was plentiful, and the room was very comfortable with daily cleaning.

The room was clean but a bug was flying over my head all night. Maybe be sure to close windows and doors.
Pierre was the best receptionist that I meet on this trip to Switzerland. The room was comfortable and the perfect size for me. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

Inflexibility. I arrived after midnight & left at 7:30 am due to a flight delay & missing all connecting. No half day rate available at the time. Could have offered free breakfast in the least or even a sandwich as all restaurants were closed.
