Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWould have been nice to know beforehand that this hostel was next to nightubs. Individual storage lockers would have been helpful. Shower could have been bigger as in there was next to no room to place your clothes when showering. Needs a different sign on the kitchen/dining room located on level 1, instead of saying privat
Hostel was modern inside and has a fresh feel. The rooms were clean amd the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Individual powerpoiints for each bed in dorm room was good

Czech RepublicBasically, there is only elementary furnishings and equipment available. - too many people in the room - value for money (price vs. comfort) - music club just beneath the accommodation (no problem when windows closed but then it's too hot inside) - absence of kitchen with a fridge - absence of private lockers
+ location near the city centre + clean bathroom

It is really close to the city centre. The self-service is working good. It is the most economical accomodation choice in the region.

Czech RepublicWater dispenser had no water (but water from toilet sinks was ok). Since there is no personell available, there was nobody to tell about this. Kitchen was not marked - it was just door with sign "Privat" on the 1st floor, we had to ask other guests where it is. Also, there was a lot of moths flying around in the kitchen.
Self check-in -> you can arrive even at later hours. Comfortable room and other facilities - there is quite well equipped kitchen (stove, toaster, water boiler, etc.). Close to some restaurants / fast-foods.

SwedenThe bathroom was okay but not really comfortable. The room is not air conditioned and it was so hot inside.
The location is good but in a party area. So you might not be able to sleep at night. The room was clean.

AustraliaCarrying bags 3 floors and the rooms are close to an all night nightclub or function centre. We could feel the bass of the music as it resonated in our beds as it banged on until just after 3 am. Not much that Phil and the management can do about it but something to consider if you struggle to fall asleep and stay asleep.
Phil provided clear directions that made the online check-in easy. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with a nice entertainment room.

DenmarkWe stayed overnight. I believe there is a night club underneath of the facility. We barely could sleep. I guess music stopped around 3 AM. Because of the loud music, even bunk was vibrating. Music suddenly starts so, it may cause you to panic. If was knowing this information, i wouldn’t stay. Also, i am not sure cleanness about bedlinen. My pillow was smelling. And the bunk was made wood. It doesn’t look in a good condition. It was too staggery.
Location is good, common areas were clean

ArgentinaIt's the worst hostel I've ever been to. There were people drinking alcohol and smoking in the room. The bathroom was very unpleasant, there's no reception, if there's an emergency you don't have anyone to contact, they leave a WhatsApp but they answer 3 or 4 hours late. If you're a woman traveling alone, I don't recommend it because most of the people who stay are men. It’s a bit uncomfortable.

AustraliaNot sure if there are lockers or not, but not a problem because I had the dorm and floor to myself! Many of the electrical outlets were broken.
It's a beautiful hostel, feels decorated with love. Very clean, very close to everything. I arrived on Sunday, and I guess it was slow because no one else was staying (so I had the dorm room to myself, which was great), but that was good.

Costa RicaShould have a contactless terminal to pay the taxes in the entrance area. With cash for foreigners it could be annoying trying to get coins.
Well even tho people in the comments area were annoyed by the bar noise, I only had one night on Saturday if I'm not wrong. The rest of the weak not any problem. The noise wasn't that bad. Is near to the train station by walking distance, many restaurants around. Near to the gondola station too The room was really big, the bed was comfortable, room temperature was nice, toilets and showers really clean.

United KingdomImpersonal ie no staff at all. Press a button for room key dispenser. No lockers which was very surprising as I'd thought they were mandatory, so if going out for the day I'd feel obliged to take everything with me. Techno music from the club below 'til the small hours. This is the only time I've used my earplugs on this trip.
