We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomNo personal touch. From check in to check out everything is done on a screen in the cafe. No personal interaction. I’m sure it’s there if you want it but a friendly “welcome” and “thank you” from a human goes a long way.

United KingdomV minor point but the tv lists a lot of UK tv channels - they existed on the tv but didn't work. Not a problem for us but if they are listed make sure they work or just take them off your list of channels and off the tv.
Did not have breakfast as caught an early train (hotel is next to station). Supermarkets nearby for any food/drink/chocolate.

United KingdomChecking in - there are no staff on a Sunday so you are left to check in on your own. There is a door code offered which was fine and then a screen to complete with info including passport details to get given your room card. This did all work ok but a risk if you couldn't get a card etc as no one around to ask. Also the room has Swiss plugs and so not helpful for standard euro plugs. There were two USB slots but one was broken and the other not working. We had to nip out late Sunday night and purchase some adaptors from the rail station (COOP) shop. It turns out that on the TV screen (under hotel info) it advises you can hire them from the sister hotel the Hotel Montana but we didn't know this until later when watching TV!! Just wanted to point this out so other folks in a similar position from the UK know what to do.
Room was a great size - nice wet room for bathroom too. Check out at 12:00 very handy. Bed very comfortable. Close to railway station which is very helpful.

AustraliaThe self check-in was slow and most of the information could have been done before arrival. The room had a sink and fridge but no cutlery or crockery or anything to prepare food. The air-conditioning was fixed and because it was hot during our stay we had to leave the window open which meant lots of noise from the railway nearby.
The hotel was easy to get to from the main train station. Onsite baggage store if arriving before 2pm. Lift available. Room was comfortable including the bed. Great coffee in the cafe downstairs.

SpainAs every time I've stayed here, the pillows here are awful. There is no filling whatsoever in them, so you end up stuffing several pillows in the one pillow case and then it's half decent.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the room had airco, something all other hotels in the city seem to be lacking. I've stayed here before and the hotel is very nice and clean and conveniently located.
