Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Spainwe s three people travelling together, when we arrived at the hotel the front desk told us because there is no triple room so gave us two rooms respectively 103 and 104 these two rooms are the end of the corridor at the end of the room. At night we went to sleep only to find that room 103 there is a passageway to the corridor, even though the front desk said that the door has been locked but we tried to open the door found that if there is a person with a strong man can easily pull the lock of the door open. In addition to the lock of the door of the room is not able to lock the door is not easy to open the door, which makes us very insecure in the end, the three of us can only crowd in the bed of the 104 to sleep the night.
This hotel is close to the train station, and it's in a great location, with a tram stop and a bus stop right outside the door.

United KingdomThe bathroom was a disgrace, tiny, you couldn't leave the door open so the steam of the shower was contained there the whole day. Also, was not very clean and very outdated. Breakfast - do not bother to spend money having breakfast in this hotel. Juices were from concentrated, pastries were dry, fruits were from jars, coffee ok from a machine but overall nothing you can not buy for less than 10 EUR outside. Staff - not very helpful or interested in your concerns. Price- extremely high for what is it!? Location - not great, there are much better areas in Geneva and you'll pay around the same. Overall - This hotel is not there yet. Outdated, overly used and expensive.
They upgraded us as we were going to stay in another of their chain hotels but when we arrived we were sent to Kippling Manotel hotel and we were upgraded so a bigger room with a big balcony, lounge chairs to enjoy the sunshine and the view and this is all the good I can say about this hotel.

United StatesThe room was hot and stuffy no matter how much I tried to adjust the heat. When I opened the window, cigarette smoke from the street came in so that wasn't an option. The showerhead holder didn't work, which meant showers were not possible, so I took baths instead. I travel to Geneva from New York and flights always arrive early. Normally they let me check in early when the room is available but this time they charged me 80 Swiss Francs to do so. That seems discourteous especially for a frequent guest of the hotel.
I have stayed here many times. It's a nice, friendly, well located boutique hotel. I was grateful to have a late checkout.

United Kingdom1. The receptionist was not very helpful. We requested a late checkout and Estelle offered 80 CF. The following day, another receptionist said it would cost 120 CF and refused to check with Estelle. 2. There was no porter to carry the luggage into and out of the rooms. 3. We were in room 209 and the bathroom door did not close.
It was close to the train station.

HungaryUnfortunately, I got my room on the top floor next to the elevator room which was noisy (didn't wake me up during my sleep but was a bit annoying in the evening). The breakfast was the same 3 days in a row, there was no variety but I still was able to have a decent breakfast every day (it is an observation rather than a complaint).
Great location, very close to the city center, and everything else (the "downtown" area is within walking distance). Good value for your money. Nice, helpful staff. Courtesy umbrella in the lobby which was very useful.

United StatesThey charged a CHF 7.50 city tax per day that was not disclosed any sooner than check out. There's no reason that this cannot be included in the price on booking. They are putting their pricing at an unfair advantage against others who do include it in the pricing in the site. Swiss law requires that all postings of prices show the full price.
The hotel was nice and clean. It was in the heart of the city, so it was very convenient. It was a short walk from the main train station too.

United KingdomI guess you get what you pay for, but a bit more cleaning is needed, the bathroom door has recently been fixed and was very tatty from water damage, and oil stained. Dirt and fluff in corners of the room. Noisy at night as we were put on front of the hotel.
Central. Free sweets.

United StatesI have stayed at this hotel many times but never was I put in such a small room. Everything was uncomfortably small - there was little room to walk around the bed and the shower was barely big enough to get into. The hotel should offer a sizable discount for such a room and warn visitors in advance.

RomaniaThe room looks clean at first sight, but on a closer look: dust under the tv, sticky remote, toiletries missing or having hair within the sealed package, the toilet room did not have a sink, the bathroom is hard to use, no water pressure, the second bed in the triple room was noisy, unstable and nails coming out of it, issues with opening the door, heating system to loud at night.
The position was great, close to train station and markets.

SpainThe location. Although I considered the area to be safe it may not appeal to single/ lady couples. They may feel intimidated by the noise later in the day. The area is noisy during the evening. It contains a large mix of migrant families who run the restaurants and the bars in that area. Breakfast. Below standard HOT breakfast. Only lumpy scrambled eggs, streaky bacon and toast available. Not good value for the money.
The staff. Very friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. A lively area with plenty of bars and restaurants. The area contained a large cultural mix of people. I considered the area to be safe for me and my partner. Very tidy room with good follow-up service. Well done!!
