Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Warm, friendly atmosphere when I arrived, and a very helpful lady helped with parking, checked me in and looked after me at dinner despite my lack of Swiss German. The room had everything I needed and was clean, quiet and comfortable. Good buffet breakfast with lots of coffee!

the restaurant seems very nice but the night we stayed at the hotel the restaurant closed at 7pm due to a special buffet event, so we couldn't try it.
for a 2 star hotel is nice. common areas need an upgrade. pool seems nice, but we didn't use it.

The staff did not speak English, so it wasn’t that easy to communicate.
A very handy location for a stop. We made a very last minute booking, and everything went smooth.

I would suggest to put more "frittaten" into the frittaten suppe which was nearly empty..beside that i had a good dinner and location for food and stay in general is recommended

The pillows were too flat. They were also down filled, which was not great for my partner who is allergic to it. Also our duvet was too narrow and not really big enough for two people to sleep under comfortably. So overall we did not get a good night sleep, which is unfortunate because everything else was good.
The rooms were much newer than expected. It looks like everything was recently renovated. Everything was very clean. The location is good. The breakfast was not vary varied, but what we had was tasty.

Well priced local hotel great for touring the surrounding mountain passes. Dinners in the restaurant were great with traditional local food. Car park available for cars and motorcycles

Would have loved some warm food options for breakfast.
The pool was a very nice touch after a long day of hiking. The room is spacious and clean. Bed are comfortable. Staff is very friendly.

A great hotel located near Altdorf, ideally located for exploring the high alpine passes south of here. I've stayed here twice before so was happy to return and use the facilities again.

I have nothing to say really, but my husband would have liked the option of a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea……typical Englishman!
The room was lovely. It had all the basic requirements and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. The towels were beautifully white. We slept really well, there was hardly any noise during the night. Breakfast was good, typical continental buffet style, with a selection of breads and jams. There was yogurts, cereal, meats and cheese and fruit. There was a selection of teas and pots of coffee was offered with refills. Orange juice was also on offer. Restaurant/dining area was good. Typical Swiss menu, we only had a snack however as we weren’t that hungry, but what we ordered was lovely and hot. The Weissbier was as always amazing. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The lady that served us at the bar in the evening was excellent. There was plenty of parking spaces. Would definitely stay there again. Beautiful views from the dining area.

The smell of the room when we first entered. It was smelling slightly like cigarettes. Since the room was on the ground floor, we could hear the cars passing by in the morning.
The room is spacious, the bed is ok, and the private bathroom also has all the necessary amenities. The hotel provided parking, and the breakfast was good with an incredible view to the surrounding mountains.
