Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I was supposed to have stunning views. My room was overseeing a narrow side alley. Yet, given the 33+C temperatures I did not really mind that.
The minimalism and utilitarian approach. I did not mind shared showers and bathroom. The hotel had a great vibe.

would have been nice to have your own toilet, but the shared showers and toilets was clean, but could have been a bit cleaner especially the shower.
The room was nice, comfortable bed and the room seemed to have been renovated not that long ago. the location is very good.

Very louder noise from nearby pub and bar that would not stop until 3 am prevents me from getting into sleep. The room on top of this property where I stayed over for 4 night was too hot like a burning oven even with a fan running Too small the bathroom and too little of the bathing water when taking a shower. The public space is not well equipped with only a refrigerator and microwave, which make it neither a hotel nor a hostel.
the location is good and take just 10 min walk to centre station and coop supermarket.

I stayed in the cheapest room in the attic, and it was a little warm, but there was a fan and it was OK.

The showers. Its ok that its reality tiny, its ok that you have or two in each floor, but the water pressure is so low it feels like shower from a water bottle.
Is The staff was perfect, kind and patient. The facility is very cozy and clean. Location great, close to the center and to the main train station.

The location was great and the hotel itself was nice but unfortunately it sits right above a noisy bar/ restaurant. It didn't quiet down until 2:30 am (my stay was on a Friday night so I can't say this happens all the time). So if you don't mind noise, this place would be okay. Also tricky check in and check out times. Just be aware of these hours to make sure it works for travel plans and it will be fine.
The location in next to the river was great and easy to locate. In the center of the historical area and plenty of food and things to see. They were also able to accomodate my touring bike which I greatly appreciate. Really nice staff.

Breakfast facility was not available. Too much costly.
Nicely located as lots of restaurants nearby and lake beside, very friendly staff, clean and comfort rooms, shared toilet was found very clean all times while shared washroom for bath was also clean.

It is a really nice place perfectly located in the city center. The views of my room were amazing and I even could sleep with open windows some time. It can get a little noisy but nothing exceptional for the time and the location. I would definetely come back.

Not suitable for families. We wanted two rooms next to each other. while we where promised to get it, when we got there the rooms where in the same floor but separated which made it logistically tough since we have 3 kids. while the room next to us was free ( we know it since the guy that got it checked it 7 hours after we got there, we know it since we helped him check in late) the person that checked us in told us when we got there that is someone is already there🥲

It wasn't clear there was no air conditioning. It was very hot during the day and we were forced to make the choice between closing the windows to a very hot room, with no AC or fans or leaving them open and suffer the very noisy street with cafes, bars, and buses late into the night.

The wifi was very very poor. The room wasn't clean, you have to pay extra cleaning fee for that. It was still ok, but it was damn hot, but they gave a nice standing fan on request. The shower place was average, more like a dorm. It didn't have any kitchen or coffee pods or anything in the common room. It was just a room with electric water kettle and microoven. It is ok for 2 or 3 days alone, not more than that. Facilities are very much limited.
Awesome location. Very close to ETH Zürich, if you want to visit ETH then this place is perfect. The location is beautiful in front of the lake and all important places are a walk away. The main station is one stop away or you can walk also, a bus stop is just in front of the door, beautiful shops and restaurants everywhere.

It was a lovely area so there were lots of loud sounds on a Saturday night. It was also hard to get airflow in the room!
