To our surprise and delight, we were upgraded to a beautiful room, which made our stay even more special. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had stunning views. Every member of the staff we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. It’s rare to experience this level of hospitality across the board. I highly recommend La Ginabelle to anyone visiting the area — it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely be back!

Breakfast was excellent, there was an extensive variety of foods for different diets. They made us fresh eggs the way we wanted every morning at their live egg station. The rooms were clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. I requested a room change and they changed it the next day. The kids club was the best part!! It's included in your stay! My husband and I got to spend some quality time together knowing our kids were safe at the kids club.

GreeceSome renovations where still ongoing in the hotel entrance. Outside pool often felt small and a bit overcrowded during afternoon hours. We tried main restaurant for dinner once but the options where not much to into our liking on the specific day.
Hotel is located in the heart of Zermatt. Our room was very spacious and conformable with great view to Matterhorn. Very lovely and friendly staff that assisted us in our stay. Spotless clean room service. Excellent choices for breakfast with omelettes chef. Shuttle drive from/to the train station on our snowy arrival was very appreciated.

United StatesNothing the management had any control over! The prices were Swiss-normal (what we think of as high to very-high for everything including the water), but we are a budget-minded family so that was on us.
La Ginabelle is (was??) a very beautiful new property/spa right next to the river (more on that later). High end fitments and fixtures throughout. The food is excellent, as are all of the staff (again, later). Very close to the railroad station, and easy walking distance to everything (Zermatt is a very small village). The owner of this family business asks every guest if everything is going well, and is very hands on. BUT we were in Zermatt for one night only (6/20/24), and that was the night the rains came...and came...and then melted the snow on the peaks. Zermatt suffered a terrible flood, there has been great damage to the village and many beautiful properties that were close to the river. In the morning the river had swollen to overflowing and most of the bridges had already been closed. The staff worked very hard to get all of the guests to the rail station before all trains and roads were closed. i think we were on the last train out, literally. The owners and staff were very concerned for the safety of the guests, and did an amazing job of getting everyone out. When La Ginabelle reopens, PLEASE stay there. The property is beautiful, and the staff really are wonderful.
