The location was further away than expected and is set back from the road, so it was tricky to see it at night with it not being lit.

The room was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was near a bus stop and a 30-45 min. walk to the city center and it was in a quiet area.

Romantik Hotel Landhaus Liebefeld was a great choice for my stay in Bern. The property has a unique charm, blending tradition and modernity in a harmonious way. The rooms are comfortable, well-furnished, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. Tamara, the staff member who looked after us and "pampered" us, deserves a mention: she was always extremely helpful and courteous, ready to respond to every request in an attentive and professional way. He made us feel safe, like at home. The atmosphere at restaurant during meals was very enjoyable and relaxing. The hotel’s location is convenient: it’s in a quiet area but well-connected to the center of Bern, which is easy to reach. It’s an excellent base for exploring the city, as well as a place to relax away from the hustle and bustle. In summary, my stay at Romantik Hotel Landhaus Liebefeld was very satisfying. A great choice for those seeking comfort and a pleasant environment while visiting Bern.

It was stated in the reviews that the facility provides free transport passes to the guests. We booked considering this opportunity. They do not provide it. We had to pay over 20 Francs for two daily transport passes. In addition to this the breakfast does not provide too many options

Really fancy and old the building which was build in the 16th century. Very authentic. Rooms are large and clean. Batrooms are modernly decorated. There is also a lift to reach upstairs alhough it is a liittle bit slower.

Everything was great

Staying in this gorgeous hotel from 1600s(?) is like stepping back in time. Not only was the accommodation perfect, the property has an absolutely incredible restaurant and killer breakfast. It’s a super small hotel so it was so private and lovely and a perfect place to land while visiting family.

You can hear some noise from downstair in the morning easily,even you close all windows.

The room is big compare to another hotel in Switzerland. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Overall, my stay was wonderful. If I were to pinpoint an area for improvement, it would be the breakfast, which, while included, had a limited selection and could benefit from more variety.

I loved the spacious, clean rooms and the friendly staff. The hotel’s convenient location, with easy access to a direct bus to my destination, was a major plus.

09:00 for breakfast was pretty late, especially since there is no cooked food options available. The buffet was pretty underwhelming, the food was ok. The room was also pretty noisy at night since it was close to the stret and restaurant.

The rooms did not have air conditioning or fans and it was extremely hot. You could not open the windows as the restaurant downstairs was very loud at night normally going quiet after midnight. The hotel was not manned after hours or when the restaurant was closed and you needed a code to get in. This was not communicated correctly on check in. Luckily another guest helped us as no one answered their phones on the after hours contact list.

It’s a mansion or former residence of the president of the Bern area. I was a single traveler, but the room I had was huge and the shower/bathroom was awesome.

Some areas were a bit run down. It was also a bit of a walk to the main town. But for the cost it was worth it!

Accessibility. Very little to do in this area, was only there as visiting parents in sheltered accomodation nearby. No staff after lunch on weekends & hotel closed.
