Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe way to the location is quite long and difficult up the mountain, but the view it's worth it.
The view to Mattethorn is sensational. You can see the mountain right from the couch or the bed. The apartment has everything it needs but it is a bit old. If your purpose is to see the Matterhorn than is propably one of the best places in Zermatt.

PhilippinesThis flat is literally on the top of the hill. Better for backpackers, not advisable if you have an elderly person. I think it is much better to put some lights outside your property because we arrived late it was so dark outside. And one thing we did not like during our stay, your staff or your cleaner was very rude. She shouted us.! After we locked the door, we went down to take some photos outside. And she said that was a private property.
The scenery was amazing! The flat is nice and clean and very spacious. Everything you need in the kitchen was available, the heater inside the flat was good, you can not feel too much cold outside.

TaiwanHowever, the location is indeed quite far, especially for a family coming from Asia with four large suitcases. It can be extremely challenging, and I assure you, it is very difficult! I have heard previous reviews mentioning the steep slopes, but the hardships surpass all expectations. Choosing this place only if you plan to stay for a long time or only have a backpack. If you don't take a cab when you come out of the Zermatt station, remember to walk straight towards the Matterhorn Museum - Zermatlantis and then make a turn. The initial turn involves both uphill and downhill sections, which can be quite demanding. Even if you arrive by taxi, there is still an uphill climb of nearly three stories. Along the way, you may even pass the Gornergrat railway tracks. Finally, when you reach the main entrance, you will realize there is no elevator, and you will have to carry your belongings up several floors.
The view from the accommodation overlooking the entire city and Matterhorn is truly impressive! The dining room is very cozy and inviting. The master bedroom is beautiful, allowing you to lie down and admire the Matterhorn. It's a serene and tranquil experience to enjoy the view from the balcony.

SingaporeAs expected the hike up was quite tough with our luggages, as mentioned in the previous reviews. But we didn’t expect the going home part to be quite dangerous as there was snow the previous day and the slopes were very slippery. Plus there weren’t railing for us to hold onto when walking down.
Super love the view of Matterhorn and the town from the apartment. The apartment was also very cozy and had a very well stocked kitchen plus dishwasher which made cooking very easy for us!

IndonesiaThe road to the apartment is quite steep and long way to go from station (but you can take e-taxi), and far from the main road which, no etaxi could continue, so we need to walk. A bit challenging when you bring a lot of/ heavy luggage.
I really love the place. It has all the facilities we needed, even exceeded our expectation! Rooms were very clean and bed was comfy. Gregoire is a great host and fast response.
