United KingdomThere was a very nice restaurant but it was opened only for breakfast, the hotel bar was equally closed. Only one person was taking care of everything during breakfast, the person was very fast and efficient but the amount of work was over his head. We found later that the same person was also cleaning rooms on our floor. The hotel rooms and thermal pool need to be renovated or at least refreshed, things are getting shabby. We had to ask for a soap for the bathtub (there was soap in the shower but was fixed on the wall) and for toiletries, we found only a small rest of body milk after the previous visitor. We found this inappropriate in a hotel of this level.
The hotel location is excellent, however, it was difficult to find the way how to reach it by car using GPS. Hotel is offering a free parking place in a closed garage. The room was full of light and there was enough space to have a comfortable stay.

Obviously the location is stunning. Our room had a great view and was very spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic, for both breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed making full use of the spa facilities too.

NorwayOne of the staff at the reception was little helpful or friendly, and even appeared to be negotiating and arguing on the phone while in the public area in front of guests. We did not have electricity in half of our room for two nights (our of 4 nights) resulting in dark room and the mini-bar going warm damaging medecine that we stored in it. No offer to compensate or give any reduction in price, which was disappointing. Place needs an upgrade/refurbishment to truly be a 5*.
Most of the staff, particularly the restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. The guys at the bar (Tommy and Luca) were super friendly and charming with my daughter and myself. Breakfast was tasty.

SwitzerlandThe steam room should be hotter. The ash trays in the pool area should be removed. The hotel should be made smoke free, especially since the theme is wellness and that there are children present. The hotel could use a little refreshing/renovation to provide a more serene/refined feel, considering it's a pricey 5-star hotel. The breakfast is simple, and could be improved on, but this is just "nice-to-have". Nevertheless, I would certainly return.
First of all, I liked the friendly, helpful staff. Secondly, the views on the south side of the hotel are stunning. The hot thermal pool and sauna are a treat. The massage therapists were excellent and highly recommended, albeit perhaps a bit overly expensive.

SwitzerlandWe had bad experience throughout dinner at the hotel: --no one greeting us upon arrival at the restaurant, services simply passing by us but ignored. we have to catch them and ask for seat although reservation was done ahead. --We ordered lamb was overcooked and too hard, after complain, it was changed but too raw and even cold inside. We hesitate to ask for changing again, and my friend eat it. Next morning of course he had stomachache and diarrhea, no sure the reason, he told us leave it and give up complain to the hotel. --Again during dinner, most time we were ignored, it is us to keep asking if we can order wine or coffee or tea after dessert, surely the service does not match 5 star hotel standard and it’s price.
Hotel has good location, good room size. Welcome fruit and sweet at the room upon arrival.

GermanyThe pool out side close at 8:00 pm in winter, which is a bit too early from my point of view. Hotel offers shuttle car to the bus station which is nice, however, only start from 9:00 am. Nevertheless: Only takes 3-10 mins to walk depends snowing or not ( even with luggage)
The hotel has a quite long history. it brings you a feeling of “old”, but everything is maintained in a good and clean way. therefore you feel really relax and happy there. The pool outside is not so big but more than enough. You won’t feel crowded ( I tried 3 times at very different time). actually most of the time you meet 0-4 other guests there. the Sauna is right next to the outside pool. No special rules there, you use the facility in a way as you feel comfortable (feels at home). Everyone from the hotel is super nice ( staffs and other guests ) Breakfast is also good enough, but not premium yet.

SwitzerlandI booked the stay as a 5 Star Hotel - turned out to be a 4 Star hotel, which needs a lot of remodeling. The Lobby has a lot of Charm & its very rich in history and retro. The room was big and comfortable. The spa area was let down & felt like not taken care of which was disappointing, especially because it was publishes as a 5 star spa hotel. The breakfast was okay, the croissants were amazing. Would have liked real scrambled eggs, instead of these industrial ones. All together, the stay was okay, but felt a little overpriced.
