Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Very small double bed, although there is plenty of space for a bigger one. Also the noise - we could hear the neighbours doing "normal" things and not even being loud.
Breakfast was great, also nice vegan options. The view is magnificent. Parking is not next to hotel, but close.

Restaurant has a very basic meal offering at the buffet (dinner and breakfast), don't know if a la carte is better. There's no space to sit around or chill, no lobby to speak of or something along those lines.
Small and simple hotel at the great location. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Lots of seminar rooms, if that's what you're in for.

It's a slightly strange hotel. As the name suggests it majors on seminars. So it doesn't have an epicentre or heart as such. I think for one night it's worth it but if you want a soul then perhaps a more traditional hotel is the way to go.
The views are spectacular. Breakfast was good. The staff are quite friendly. Well priced.

Our room was a little small, but we didn't stay there all days, so it didn't disturb us much.
The staff was really friendly and helpful, the view was breathtaking. They had really good restaurant and delicious food! Totally recommend this place!

The hotel has a panorama terrace with a gorgeous view over the Walensee and the mountains. Very clean, comfortable room. Very kind service a reception. Breakfast was good too.

Room at the last floor was a bit warm, and shared bathroom but I knew it before booking so I wouldn't complain
Booked a one night room for a bike trip. Beautiful location above the lake, calm area, reception was very careful. Room was at the last and third floor, and was ok, bathrooms are shared but for one night this is fine. Left my bike in a small room at the reception. You can eat at the restaurant's buffet, or there is also a little grocery store at less than 1km with almost everything you need. The breakfast was amazing, with bread and brioches baked in the kitchen. Finally, was a great stay, not cheap or too expensive but that's Switzerland.

The bed matress is not comfortable, i feel that the head part of the bed is lower than the other part... There's not so many choices at the restaurants dinner buffet(carrot soup, they have good choices for the salad, 2 main course, 2 kind of veggies, rice,pasta and a marble cake for dessert). They don't even have the price list of what they are selling like for the boisson, etc.
The Hotels place is magnifique, it is situated in between mountains and lakes. I couldn't say anything about the view because it was breathtaking. Breakfast is super 👌. The staff were very accommodating, they even let us change the date of our stay because we had some problem. It was a place to relax. We had a great stay!

Location is walking distance to Talapsee station. Huge, clean room with Walensee Lake view. Staff are very accommodating.

There isn’t much within walking distance so I’d recommend having a car or dining on site. Be sure to book dinner in advance as reservations are usually required.
Beautiful hotel with incredible views of the lake! Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Large room with comfortable beds. Wonderful breakfast buffet but get there early to have all of the options available. Lovely patio available with chairs to enjoy the views!

Bed is small for two people.
Panoramic views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten mountain are great. Good place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

You get towels but in the shared bathroom, no soap nor shampoo. You have to bring ones. But this may be the case often in Switzerland. Shower curtain was small for the size of bathtub and had to be careful not to splash. Dinner offered at the restaurant was buffet only for CHF39 and many dishes were Asian dishes. We wanted Swiss food. People stay near the entrance and smoked. This is everywhere in Switzerland. I hope it changes. It really stinks and smell goes into your room if room is above entrance. No point of non smoking room.its a bit far from main highway. You get off one and have to go on narrow winding mountain roads. Not many other restaurants around it. Many of them was closed.
Clean renovated room with mountain view. Because we got a corner room, wind could go through the room and it was very nice. We asked for a quiet room and they gave us the furthest room on the top floor. It was quiet. No tv in the room but we didn't need one. Table with two chairs were very nice. Breakfast had many kinds of items like museli, juices, yogurt, dried fruits, mixed or sliced fruit, breads, jams, lunch meat, cheese. Coffee machines was nice as some other hotels give you only one cup of coffee. There are many hiking trails nearby but study where it's going first. We went down to the lake on steep hill and it was not a loop! We walked 3 hours and had to take a bus from another town! But it was a fantastic stay.
