I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and had a good experience. The reception staff were helpful and changed my room to a river-view with a double bed when I requested it. The location is excellent, near a popular tourist spot and the train station. However, my room was not always clean during the first three nights, and there was noise from the bar at night. If you prioritize location over cleanliness, I recommend this hotel for an enjoyable stay in the town.

Cleanliness is good yet not perfect Reception people are great, yet they close around 1 am - 8 am, you will have to use the side door. Which needs you to be lifting the baggage for around 1 floor.

STAFF and LOCATION are perfect, the location is close to the central station which is the main artery of life!

Unfortunately, even with the door/windows being closed, it was too noisy outside. Looks like bar/party adjacent to the hotel with loud music and lot's of party goers having late night party. The bathroom light was unfortunately flickering and not that bright.

Location of the hotel is within walking distance to a lot of the tourist attractions. The room was a decent size. The balcony was a plus since it provides a good view of the city. We are not able to try breakfast but the Hotel has a restaurant that has treats available for the guest. The best part is the bed, it was so soft and comfortable - best experience for a long day of walking around the city area.

Despite returning to the hotel before 11.00 on our first night the doors were locked at we struggled to get in. A stressful 15 minutes. Shower was leaky. We had requested a kettle in the room and before arriving was told yes, fine. On arrival no kettle available. TV didn't work. We told staff and they already knew. We declined the offer to change rooms.

We didn't have breakfast. Can't fault the location for transport links and access to excursions and shops.

I never select the 'with breakfast' option. The food selection is very poor, especially at CHF22. I always go to the COOP just over the other side of the river towards the railway station. It opens at 06:00 and has a great selection of fresh food.

I liked the location, a few minutes walks from the main railway station. The price was good value compared to the ridiculous price of hotels (and everything else) in Switzerland. I had booked a room with a double bed but was put in a twin, they moved me when I requested it. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The double room was better appointed than the twin. This was my second visit to this hotel and I will return again.

Super location very central and close to train station. Adequate room for price. Comfy bed. There is no indication of name of hotel on the outside as is through a bar. This needs to be made clearer. Spent some time trying to locate the hotel in the rain. Otherwise good value for money.

We got the superior twin room. There was nothing superior about it. I shudder at the thought of how small and basic the "not superior" rooms look like. And... I hope you're comfortable with your companion, as the bathroom door in our room was practically see-through 😬

The bathroom definitely needs a makeover didn’t like the raw concrete look with black staining. May if been clean but didn’t look like it.
