TV had only 1 station that worked and staff aware of TV issues in this room and in other rooms, but did not advise when we arrived and not fussed that issue affecting guests. Ac unit leaked water down wall and when told staff not worried as like the TV issue happens all the time. Morning person in hotel appeared not to be interested and customer service skls and smiling can be improved.

Located just across the river in the old town, close to shops, places to eat, and next to a tram stop. Comfortable bed, and helpful service staff.

The only problem, the TV and the safe didn't work but I don't think that warrants a bad rating because it was a pleasant stay.

The location was perfect and easy to get to. It was very clean with friendly staff. Our room faced the back alley and the windows were very sound proof. The bed was also comfortable with working air-conditioning so we slept very well. We forgot our adapter and they let us borrow one for the duration of our stay, free of charge. The room size was great for two people.

- The bathroom sink was blocked so when we turned the tap on, gross things came back up from the pipes - No WiFi apart from in the bar, yet we were told (and the listing states) that it should work in the rooms - The TV in the room didn't work - The bathroom doors were see through (??) When these concerns were raised upon going into the room, the girls at reception said they're aware of all these issues because I'm not the only one to raise them and said they couldn't do anything but offer us a drink on the house. We were travelling from overseas with no data and we're reliant on the WiFi to plan the things, and I really didn't want to see random green things come up from the sink pipes after washing my hands. It was gross. For the price that we spent per night here (NOT CHEAP), and for the staff to know there were issues and not raise them ahead of time or even when we arrived - it's appalling. They are falsely advertising the establishment and it's embarrassing! Being offered a free drink isn't good enough

The rooms are very tiny for the amount we pay. No place for two people to walk plus if we have suitcases then if we open our suitcase then we have to jump over it or climb the bed to move across. We stayed for two nights but the rooms where not cleaned. Bathroom is very tiny. WiFi never worked and when asked they said they had some problem with the connection. The ac in the room kept cracking and making weird noise after 10 min we switch it on. If you have a big suitcase and you have to travel before 7.30 or 8, we have to be prepared to carry them down 10 to 15 stairs as lift only goes till 1st floor during that time. Overall we didn’t find our stay comfortable as it’s not worth the money we pay.

I'd like to express my gratitude to Irina, who was at the hotel reception. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and responsive! Our check-in experience was greatly assisted by her, and she provided us with valuable information about the city. Additionally, she helped us purchase railway tickets for our upcoming journey to another city. We had a breathtaking view from our window of the city, the river, and the embankment. Noisy, tiny bedrooms, so if seeking a quiet stay AVOID! Uncomfortable beds. Staff run it more like a 'side show' to what they seem to focus on ....which is the bar. No reception. Locked out if back late at night as closes at around 11pm. Disable the lift without telling you in the early morning, so be prepared to carry heavy luggage down multiple flights of stairs - and good luck finding the exit. Mini fridge not working ( when asked to look at it they didn't bother!). Air conditioning noisy. Terrible decor. Not much to admire to be honest.

The guy that runs it imo, runs the hotel as an almost 'side project ' to his love - which is his bar on the ground floor. No actual 'reception' at the hotel, just turn up at the bar and hope someone can help! Rooms are incredibly small for a couple (or in our case 3 people). 'Defurbed' decor not my style. Mini Fridge didn't work ( mentioned it but nothing done). Air con not reliable and noisy. Can be noisy later at night, with music and bass reverberating in your room, so if looking for a quiet stay avoid. Plus if you're leaving early, they don't tell you the lift is disabled, so be prepared to carry your luggage down up to 4 flights of stairs, and fight to find a way out of there!!!!

The location is very good for the old town and bars/restaurants. Situated next to the river is a nice view and position.

LOCATION! Clean and comfortable room with an incredible view of the stunning river and old town. The perfect location of Zürich!! Amazing to be so close to the train station and right in the middle of Zürich, for the room to be quiet due to excellent double glazing and the street below to be so lively. Staff were so friendly, kind and patient.

The rooms were quite small and bit worn out and did not have all the facilities listed (e.g. we had to ask for electric kettle, the mini bar fridge was not working which we wanted to use to keep the Swiss chocolates) and breakfast option was very basic (which we decided not to go for)

The hotel was right in front of Limmat river with a great view from the room. It was just 3-4 mins walking distance to the main central station (very convenient for travelling to the airport) and 10 mins walk to Burkiplatz with lot of options of restaurants nearby

I stayed there with my family.First of all the hotel itself doesn't have any staff.the bar staff work for the hotel as well.secondly, at night there is no hotel staff n if u come late ten 11 o clock u can stuck out for rest of night.abt cleaning the lady daily came for cleaning bt was not cleaning properly as there was ants n dust everywhere in room.n most important thing is my son left his earpords n wen we came back ten it was missing.we asked the staff thy said we can't do anything.then I asked abt owner n staff said he never turn to the hotel n if we massage him even he never replied to our massage.so b4 booking at this hotel sud think twice.

The only best thing is its location which is 5 min walk to Zurich HB Station.
