Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

PhilippinesThe location along the lake. The 2 double deluxe rooms assigned to my family members had balconies overlooking the lake. That made their stay enjoyable. However my wife and I were assigned room #44, a deluxe double room obtained through booking com at a slightly lower price. Although the quality of big double bed was good and the bathroom fixtures were in good condition, the present state of the room was nowhere deluxe. In spite of our report that the bath gel container was empty, the tissue box had run out of contents, that there was just one small piece of soap and the walls of the bathroom and bedroom were dilapidated, no response at all was obtained from hotel management. We asked for a change of room for our second night. No response. It seemed they should not be bothered by guests' complaints. The compliment we could give is only to Ilina, the friendly lady receptionist who was attentive and friendly to us.

United StatesRoom a bit tight, smaller than expected. No desk of any sort. Was not happy with staff. Both people I dealt with seemed disinterested in my needs and preoccupied with other things. No feeling of being welcomed at all. When I said that there was no TV remote the response was "I guess the TV is broken then". (And that was it, we had no TV). The climate control in the room worked, but (again) the remote was missing. Had to get it from the from desk, and it was missing buttons so that limited what we could do with the climate control machine. There is a bar/cafe downstairs that we did not know about. Fortunately, as mentioned, the room was very quiet,
The location could not be better. On the river and within walking distance of all the fun stuff to see as well as the train station. Room was clean and modern, comfy bed, excellent bathroom. It was surprisingly quiet, which was key because there was a ton of social life surrounding the hotel.
