United Kingdom5 minutes from motorway. Rooms comfortable temperature with good aircon and large windows that open. Bed and bedding really comfortable. Very quiet. Restaurant and bar attached. Decent parking - felt safe to leave bikes on car.

GermanyOverall a mixed feeling, I'll start chronologically: Day 1: super friendly receptionist Day 1 night: i couldn't sleep as it's the first time I've ever seen what's called as bedbugs. Had to kill a few. Being close to 2am and a small hotel, i decided to wait til next morning to inform the reception. Day 2: new receptionist, not so nice, especially when informing about the bedbugs, asking to change rooms, and asking for a refund or partial compensation for the incident, to which i was yelled at that i should have called them at 2am, so i guess it's my fault. Day 2 night: new room, very nice and comfortable Day 3 checkout: another new receptionist, I told the incident about the bedbugs, apparently people before me have never complained, so... The implication was that either I put those things there or i was lying. Not very nice. No refund or partial compensation as apparently they will make thorough analyses even with a dog (not kidding) and maybe then they will contact me.... So, no hopes here.

United KingdomVery warm welcoming, neat and tidy. Room a bit small, but clean. No kettle in the room. Breakfast a bit poor, mainly cereal and Bread. Staff were very helpful and kind. Private parking available, and just about 10 mins driving from Luzern central. Also got visitors voucher so free wifi across city central, public transport free… Overall, a good experience.

GermanyThe hotel’s WiFi is rather weak, not being able to make a line call from the hotel. In addition, the hotel is situated at Emmenbrücke where it is in the suburbs of Lucerne even though it is well-connected to the center city only by the Bus no.2 (the last stop).
There is an air-conditioning in the room. The bathroom has wide space.

FranceEverything else was a disaster, especially the manager at the receptionist. I didn’t want to play the race card, because i am an asian but because i am and it was a sad reality. The receptionist was very unhelpful told me that « it’s not her problem that my teenage daughter had to come last minute, so as the arogant manager. When i asked my french husband to talk to them, they treated him better and told him « we are here to help » There was an « error » in booking on my part because of sudden changes but they didn’t want to help and offer solution. The only solution was for us to pay and impose that my husband sleep in a separate room. How crazy!!!!! The dirty couch pillows are placed on the bed with the clean sleeping pillows.. yuck!!! The rooms are small, i doubt they are really 17m2.
Just the staff at the breakfast was very accomodating.
