New ZealandI noticed black mould in the shower and mentioned it to hotel staff. The response was defensive, that it would be too time consuming to clean the showers in the rooms more frequently since they needed a special machine to get rid of the mould. Pretty disappointed to find the shower still looked like it hadn't been cleaned the following night. Plus no privacy, with the next bed around 30cm away in a shared room.

The staffs were friendly yet professional. The area around the hotel is quiet and easy to reach by car or train. There are also supermarket, gas station and bakery not far from the hotel. The room was clean, yet too soft mattress for me. The hotel provided nice breakfast buffet and shared kitchen, in case you wanna cook or heat up something yourself.

When i informed the manager who was available at 8am on 2nd may 2024.. he said we should have informed him earlier.. he was like it was my mistake.. he wasn't sorry at all.. so rude.. I WOULDNT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE..JUST BECAUSE OF THIS RUDE MANAGER AND FOR A GIVING ME A USED ROOM WITH ALL WASTE AROUND AND USED BED, BLANKETS AND TOWELS.. WITH NO TISSUE TO GO TO.THE TOILET... AND STILL I HAD TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING.. I HAD TO RUN TO.THE AIRPORT ELSE WOULD HAVE COMPLAINED TO HIGHER AUTHORITIES..

United StatesWe thought the room would not have bunk beds and were surprised when they only had bunkbeds. We had four adults and a few of us don’t fit in bunkbeds very well especially on the top. I am too tall for top bunkbeds. We also thought there was complimentary baggage storage and remembered the hotel telling us a few months before when we booked. They have since changed the policy to charge 5 f per bag for storage which was much too expensive and inconvenient for us. We paid a little less at the main station lockers.
The property was clean and located not too far from the train station.

United KingdomMy initial expectations led me to believe I had reserved a hotel room with twin beds, only to find upon arrival that it was a hostel offering two beds and a private bathroom. Disappointingly, the room lacked amenities such as toothbrushes, coffee, tea, and a water boiler. I had to resort to using the communal kitchen on the ground floor for boiling water. Additionally, the width of the bed was very narrow.
I commend the cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom, as well as the provision of clean towels and bed sheets. I found the paid breakfast to be good value for money. The hotel was near to the train station, walking distance, which was good

NetherlandsThe MEININGER Hotel is a 10 minutes far from centrum area, the metro station is 5 minutes walking from the hotel, so you can easily get a public transportation. Even that I have previous requested a sport to part my car, at the reception they said that my reservation did not have a park spot and I need to pay extra 25CHF.
It is always a good experience to be in a MEININGER Hotel. We stayed in a family room, everything was clean and all the beds were comfortable.
