Some may say it is outdated, for me was not an issue. Not really much around the hotel, but you can walk 15 minutes to the center.

The doors to the rooms are thin so you could hear everyone passing by and talking outside. But I was only there for 1 night so it wasn’t a major issue.

Since it was hot, an aircon would be great.

It was a pleasant surprise. At first, I thought they were closed, but behind non translucent sliding doors a nice concoction of cultures and colors opened up. A bit of glorious past, but everything worked and was clean. A very pleasant surprise was the bicycle saferoom and the short walk to the city center, topped off with a good breakfast.

You can renovate the entrance of the hotel and change the old flags.

The owner is very nice and sympathic lady.the rooms are renovated and very clean.Garden rooms and rooms with balcony are our favourite rooms.The breakfast is enough.The wifi works well.15 minutes to the city center.You can take a bus to go to the train station.We feel very comfortable in Metropol Hotel.

The weather! Tired hotel that may need updating in many people's eyes.

Isabelle on reception is adorable - very helpful, polite and smiley. Hotel is very close to BBZ sporthalle for those who are playing there. Close to the town centre - walking distance. Size of the room. Old fashioned decor but it suits the place.

Twin beds that could not be pushed together. To be fair, they were clear that we had reserved twin beds. I don’t think they had double beds available.

Convenient location close to Centre of city, cheerful helpful staff. Croissant quality . The ones were had the last morning were delicious.

The room was on the street side, there is not much traffic but someone sensitive to noise would be wise to ask for a window on the yard side of the hotel.

Friendly manager (I think), all alone to cover all tasks, very energetic and always a nice smile on her face. Room covers all needs : good bed, clean bathroom, the room I was in even had a separate space inside the room with a desk, very convenient. Breakfast was okay (cheese, ham, bread, fruits, yogurt, marmelade).
