housekeeping was knocking several times on the day of check-out. First time this is happening to me - why they don‘t communicate with reception and wait until we left?

like other properties this one also has a/c that is turned off at the beginning of October. with the windows opened 24/7 the temp never fell below 20.5C (69F) in the room. I like to sleep in a cool room, ESPECIALLY when every hotel property puts a fluffy duvet on every bed. Nothing like a hot room and a quilt to make your stay a little ridiculous. Wake up to sheets Europe!

Would be nice if decaffeinated coffee would also be offered during breakfast (maybe I didn't see it); kind of got disturbed by housekeeping, but I also didn't put the do not disturb sign on my door (thought they wouldn't do my room until after I checked out; not a tragedy though)

Same great vibe and comfort as my last stay; professional staff and communication was great; was able to get my Bern ticket in advance; big thanks again to Dominique; good selection at breakfast; great location

Hotel is bit more outside of city, but nothing serious as if you like to walk, it is nice 45 walk. On the other side it is great for arriving to hotel, as it is next to highway.

Very nice, modern design hotel with garage parking and nice breakfast. Reasonable sized room, which has everything you need for short stay (1-2 nights).

The bed and the pillows were uncomfortable and the room was sometimes cold. There is only one coffee machine and there is a huge line during breakfast.

Our room was very clean, very good breakfast with a variety of choices. The train station that connects the hotel with the city center of Bern is just 2’ away from the hotel on foot.

There are few restaurants near the hotel to go to for dinner. The two restaurants within walking distance were both closed on weekends.

The location was outside the city center, but easily reached by bus and the hotel provides a free pass to use the busses. This made it pretty easy to get around and to access the city center. There is a grocery store right next to the hotel which was convenient.

Do not forget the "Do not disturb sign" - otherwise the room service is not stopping to try to enter your room in a quite pushy way...

The power points in the room were oddly shaped so my partner and I could not use our adapters to charge our phones and laptops which was annoying. I am sure the hotel receives a lot of international guests so I would recommend changing this to make it easier for them.

The breakfast was really nice and had lots of different varieties of food so good value for money. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. We had no issues with checking in and out, it was very easy.

Breakfast area was small. 1 coffee machine was not enough on most days with a long line for coffee. Breakfast selection limited. Staff at breakfast was scanty and the staff seemed stressed, trying to put out breakfast items. No reusable plastic packet/ bin liner in the bin.

Location was amazing. Room was clean. Great bed and shower.
