Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaYou could hear every time someone in one of the other bunks turned over or climbed up. My code didn't work when I arrived so I had to call them to get into the building.
Convenient to the railway station and fairly comfortable.

UkraineThere was no kitchen at all, and I don't say like a proper stove and cabinets, not even a simple fridge not a kettle not a microwave. Nothing. The panel inside the pod was super bright and if you switch it off pulling the card out it wouldn't charge your phone. And there's no socket not even a Swiss one (let alone European or universal) but just a usb/type-C points like the ones you use in the car instead of cigarette lighter and it takes forever to charge anything. The capsule was very squeaky and hard to make a move without making noise. Same goes to your neighbors above or under you. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower, not even a big bottle of cheap stuff nailed to the wall, nothing.
It was very clean, comfortable bedding, and great location. When my control panel started to act up I was moved to a different pod without any problems.

GibraltarSo noisy, everything squeaks when wmanumyone moves. No sound insulation so if someone gets up, you're all awake. And the pictures don't show you how small the space really is.

IrelandThe cube was difficult to get in and out of, I ended up with lots of bruises. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable. There weren't any tea/coffee making facilities and there was no drinking water available. It was way overpriced. The flooring of the cube was very creaky and noisy. Every time someone moved during the night it woke everyone up.

Switzerlandnothing, very difficult to get to the assigned capsule, impossible to understand instructions, only in german. while I struggled to understand the instructions for getting the key 4 persons were in the same situation like me, and luckily there was a person who've been through the process and explained us. Penible. Safety is a huge issue in case of fire everybody would have been dead, I don't understand how the permit for this was obtained

SwitzerlandThe bed structure is squeaking. When someone moves in one of the capsules, the noise is rather loud in the whole room. Also, the locker electronic system does not always work. You need to use your card many times until it unlocks.
The changing room is great and the locker size is great.

SwedenThe fact that one couldn't sleep due to the loud noises from: 1. each movement of the ppl around one does. The cube construction should manage movement without sounding as if the whole structure is about to collapse. 2. The locks on the cubes make a loud sound each time one is opening their locker or the cube. Being in a small space with 4 cubes and ppl inside ... the loud noises of the bed frames and lockers were unacceptable, and sleep was not included in the stay.
Super clean, comfy bed, location was also great.

United StatesI’ve stayed at several capsule hotels around the world and have usually loved the experience, but this one was quite disappointing. The room was uncomfortably hot at night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the light from the common area seeped through the doors, which was disruptive. Having only one bathroom and shower for all guests felt inadequate, and to make matters worse, the bathroom doorknob broke off during my stay.”m
