We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe 'hotel' was a little different to what i've experienced before. For check in you just type your information into the machine when you first enter. It would have been nice to have been told about the machine, because when we arrived we went looking on all floors for the reception and then had to call the helpline (partly us being stupid after being in a long car journey and walking straight past it!!)
The location is far from perfect you walk under a small archway and you are right in the centre of Luzerne. From our room we could even see the river which was beautiful when the sun set. Breakfast was not applicable but there are loads of restaurants around because of the location. The room was clean and had very comfortable beds. If you don't like super soft pillows you won't like this place as they felt like a cloud! The shower was in the main rude which was a little strange so if you're sharing with a friend it might be a bit awkward but if you're with you're other half it's a little funny

United KingdomThe check in mechanism did not work for us, nor the other two groups of people waiting to check in. Despite the machine taking my details, payment and reservation information, at the final hurdle it showed an error message and didn't hand over the key card who h is a little nerve wracking when you've just handed over 400 GBP! Someone came to help very quickly after calling for which we were grateful, but it's a little frustrating when you can't check in until two, the sun is shining and there's further delay. Improve the self check in element and this will be great!
Hotel room was sleek, clean and a good size. Facilities of a kettle, fridge , shower gel , towels and a safe were welcomed.

SwitzerlandThe path leading to the accommodation before arrival is rocky and bumpy, which may not be friendly if you're carrying large luggage. However, it's understandable since it's situated in the old town.
The location is not far from the Bahnhof, to be honest, but it's hidden within a residential block in the old town, which requires some time to navigate.

Centrally located on a small street in historic district. Walking distance from Train Station, restaurants and attractions/ historical sites. Room was clean and well appointed with all expected amenities.

AustraliaNo mugs were provided even though there was a kettle in the room. However once requested the host told us to get some for free from the neighbouring coffee shop. The power plugs do not fit large European adaptors so we could only charge one phone at a time with the Apple cord. It says on booking.com that breakfast is included with the times for breakfast however when we asked no breakfast was provided in our stay.
The location was excellent within close walking distance to the town and bridge.

United KingdomShower wasn't very hot at 8.30pm. I don't really like sinks that are not in the bathroom area - I do understand why that design decision was made and its not the end of the world, but I like a sink next to the loo! There are currently ( April 24) construction works opposite and noise started about 7.30am. Didn't bother us really - just mentioning it.
Great location. Close to train station. Note there are some cobbles en-route if you are wheeling a case but its not too bad. Found it easily. Check in was fine. It takes 5-10 minutes and it was clear what to do. There is a lift but its pretty small. (and you need to go up about 5 steps to get to it - not sure if there is an alternative accessible route) Rooms are spotless. There is a kettle and a fridge and a hairdryer - none of which we used but worth noting. Space to put your luggage. And a TV. Shower is large. Beds super comfy. USB ports for charging so not an issue if you don't have a plug converter.

United StatesWe arrived early and had no way to see if we could check in early. It would be nice if the communication included instructions about arriving early. This is because self check in means there is no reception. Luckily the woman doing house keeping heard us and helped us out. Luckily our room was ready and we were able to check in. If house keeping wasn’t there I’m not sure what we would have done.

United KingdomThe lift is quite small if you have large luggage with you, it might take 2 trips. From our room we could hear the lift.
Location was fantastic 1 min from the river and 10 min walk to train station. Checking in was an automated machine at the property, very easy and quick to use. The room was a decent size. A bit quirky with the sink in the room but it was very clean and a nice glass bottle of complimentary water and mini chocolates were left for us.

AustraliaNot a fan of the glass door for the bathroom. There was nowhere to put your bathroom items when dressing in the shower\toilet cubicle since the sink was seperate as we were friends travelling together so wanting bathroom privacy!
The self check worked really well ( was our first time) and the location was amazing. It helped to have googled to know what we were looking for as the entrance is just a door in a dead street! The room was large, clean, had a fridge and a kettle. It had room for luggage and was comfortable.
