Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I would have preferred to stay in the main hotel building itself . I was given a room in the annexe building which is a small walk from the main hotel . The annexe building is like a self service appartment . I booked the hotel by seeing pictures of the main building. Even for the breakfast is served in the main hotel.

Even though the weather was cool during our stay, the room remained pretty warm (there is no A/C), not much air circulation even with windows open. There is also a church bell tower across the street that chimes at intervals throughout the night, which made it difficult for a full night's sleep.
Wonderful staff, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We were also upgraded to a larger room even without requesting. The breakfast was also a great bonus!

Our room in the front of the building was noisy at night due to the church bells ringing every 15 minutes 24/7.
Very clean and comfortable room. Very nice breakfast. Personable staff.

No a/c (common in Europe) so it was a bit warm for our June stay, with the windows open there was some street noise. The room did have an oscillating fan which helped.
The hotel is very clean, with comfortable beds, centrally located, parking conveniently located nearby & friendly staff. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit, yogurt/granola, fresh bread/croissants with hard boiled eggs, meats & cheeses. Unfortunately we weren’t able to eat at the restaurant as they were fully booked. Perhaps we should have booked a table before our arrival or at check in?

The structure of the room is not convenient. There was no socket near the bed unless we pull off the lamp charger. There’s little space from the toilet to the wall. There’s little napkin (only 5-6 in the box) and 1/3 liquid soap in the bottle when we arrived.
The staff is very friendly and warm. The breakfast is good and variable. The location of hotel is not far from the train station. The room is clean.

the room is super small and hot during the day. the staff come and clean the room in the afternoon and open the window, and it let the bugs come inside when we’re back at night.

Has a really tiny elevator, which is hard when you have a large group of people and/or luggage

We were on the top floor which had a few sloped ceilings/low beams which you had to duck under to get to certain parts of the room. It also seemed to be a lot hotter than lower rooms in the hotel.

Room was very cramped and stuffy.

I think everywhere is luzern is abit pricy so I guess the only thing was the price which is normal there.

Really all was good, if we were very picky... an english speaking tv channel or 2 would have been lovely.
Super location! Beds extremely comfy. Large shower! View of the river was a bonus.
