The streets were noisy at night, we had to leave the windows open since it was hot in the room. A fan was provided complementary, already in our room.

Great location, close to shopping, restaurants, sight seeing, right in the middle of town. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming. Check in was super easy. Rooms were exceptionally clean and had everything we needed.

There was loud construction noise on site during the time we stayed which wasn’t advised prior. The doorbell didn’t work to notify staff for luggage storage. There was a kettle in the room but no mugs to use it. The fan provided was really loud and therefore not suitable to use while sleeping.

The location was really good, and easy to get to from the train station. The room size was generous and had a good size TV. There was a good size fridge provided.

Our stay was highly disappointing from start to finish. Before arrival, we confirmed with the hotel that we could leave our luggage with them before check-in. However, despite ringing the bell twice in the morning, no one came to assist us. When we finally checked in during the afternoon, the first room assigned to us was completely used and dirty. It took staff half an hour to give us another room, which turned out to be dirty as well. The toilet was dirty, the shower had stains, the room was dusty, and there was a stain of a grease substance on the TV. The third room they moved us to was also dusty. We requested a refund and decided to find another hotel. However, the staff on site said they couldn't make any decisions and that we could only reach management via email. They refused to provide a phone number, stating it was unauthorized by their management team. Despite their efforts to help, the only solution offered was a free drink from a nearby restaurant (?) Initially, they told us we could cancel if we didn't like the room, but later, after consulting their manager, they said they couldn't guarantee any refund if we cancelled. After spending the whole afternoon sorting this out, we finally received an email from management confirming a refund for the second night only, forcing us to stay the first night and check out in the morning. Given the issues with cleanliness and the lack of on-site assistance, I would not recommend this hotel.

Self check-in was easy, the room was lovely and clean. The location was close to the train station and to the rest of the town so it was easy to get there with luggage.

Instructions about check in not clear, other guests also had problems. No response to messages I sent. Bedside lights flickering on and off so we unplugged. Kettle supplied but no coffee or tea, or spoons supplied.

The room we were issued was not as advertised. It was an Attic type room with low sloping intrusive ceiling details that we frequently hit our heads on. The light for the toilet was also linked to an open wall hanging space so you couldn’t turn on the toilet light at night without waking your partner. The door to the toilet would not latch. They provided an electric kettle but no tea or coffee mugs. There was an unsealed half used carton of milk in the fridge when we arrived. The electronic system that books you in asks if you would like one access card or two, you choose two and it refuses to progress so eventually you choose one, then you have to go back to the start of the process and ask for another card ( first world problems but annoying when you consider how late the check in is (ie) earliest checkin is 4 pm ) Finally there is a full construction renovation opposite and they bang and crash from early every morning and the single pillows were pretty bad - they should have provided extra pillows.

We had problems checking in as some parts of the instructions were not as clear to us. Realizing it may be our issue, but at the same time, another guest checking in had problems as well. However, the host was immediately available via phone and walked us through what we needed to do. She was exceptionally helpful and patient. Nice person! Even with the initial challenge, we plan to stay here for future trips.

Exceptionally pleased with this location and the room in general. Very modern and nice decor. Well maintained and clean. Stayed two nights and would have stayed longer if we did not need to get on with our trip. Relatively fair price for Luzern, especially since it is such a short walk to everything including the train station (about ten minutes with luggage). Host was very helpful and kind.

There was a sliding door to the bathroom and toilet that didn´t seal - there was like 5-10 cm gap between them and the wall so it was like there were no doors. And it was very unpleasant especially when you have to "do your thing". There was no clothes peg in the bathroom... so the room was good except the bathroom :-)

The property's position was great - near the city center, train station... The rooms are modern and clean. But...

The rooms were very cute and clean. Newly renovated. They were very kind to accommodate early check in for us. We were travelling with children and it was very cold. They helped us with the self check in too, we were facing some problem with it though it was very simple to do. They also stored our luggage on the last day while we spent some time more in the City. It was an amazing stay. The location of the hotel is superb. They are right on the banks of the river. The top floor room window has beautiful view. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. 10 on 10 from us. We loved our stay here.
