Location is far from the city center

Hotel Neufeld is a decent option for a stay in Switzerland. While it's located a bit far from the city center, the area is quiet and well connected by public transport. My room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. What really stood out to me was the breakfast service. I especially want to mention the two girls preparing breakfast - they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the mornings feel warm and pleasant.

Very HARD / ROUGH towels in the bathroom. The very small TV must be placed high, on the wall. The mattress was very soft, you can sink down. So, probably it will be a problem if you suffer from a waist pain.

Early check in. Rich breakfast. Good location, not so far away from the city center (7 stops to Bahnhoplatz/ 6 stops to Paradeplatz). Tram Nr 9 & 14 stop (Goldbrunnenplattz) just a few steps from the Hotel.

Hotel Neufeld is in an excellent location. The tram is very close by. And, there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. I initially booked a twin room. It was very small. I liked the location, so I extended my stay by another day. This time, I got a double room, which was spacious, and had lots of natural light. There was a nice patio and two large windows. The bathroom is larger, too. And it had a big screen TV.

The room was pretty small and felt a bit stuffy, but the worst part was the strong musty smell in the bedding, it was really noticeable. Bathroom was clean. Also, there weren’t enough outlets for charging phones.

The location and public transport were absolutely perfect. You can take tram 9 or 14 right outside the hotel and reach almost anywhere you want. It’s also a very safe and pleasant area.

Bed and pillow not very comfortable, walls fairly thin meaning can hear people in other rooms (and whoever you're sharing with using the toilet).

Good location just outside the main area of Zurich, fairly peaceful and easy to reach from the main station on tram 14. Good choice of breakfast.

Check ın tıme was at 11 o'clock and we were there at 10.40, they didn't give us a room, actually the male officer there I think wanted to give it but the female one didn't even talk to us and said they couldn't give it to the male one. We told them that we would be back to the hotel very late that night and that we wanted to take the room. But they didn't give it. Maybe it really wasn't ready. I don't know, it wasn't a problem though.

The breakfast was small but had enough to satisfy you. There wasn't much variety but it was nice. Although the location was far from the center, buses and trams were passing right in front of it and we could easily reach the center. There was a kiosk, Dominos and another pizza place and coffee shop right in front of it. The rooms were small but clean. The bathroom shampoo and soap were in a single container but it wasn't bad. Since we had our own shampoos, we didn't have any problems.

Although we booked a double bed, it was two single beds put together to form a double bed. Since they were not locked/connected well, beds were moving was not comfortable to sleep as a couple.

The door of the room was hardly openning, the room conditions should be checked before the guests.

Walking distance to city center. Hotel was clean. Room was tidy. Breakfast is ok. After 8 pm, there is a free parking outside of the hotel.

The room was so small and not very clean. The cheapest thing (slippers) was not provided. The room was not as clean as to walk barehand, therefore we asked for the slippers. However, it was not included.

They had serving desk only on the ground floor, next to the reception desk. It was okay if we stay on the first floor, but I think it would be a little uncomfortable for those who stay on the second floor or above to go downstairs every time we want to make a coffee/ tea/ warm our food

Very easy to reach from Zurich central station, you just need to ride 1 tram (no need to change tram or other transportation). The hotel has a small elevator, just enough for the suitcases and maybe 1 small person so we don't have to carry our suitcases all the way up by stairs.

Could have been a ramp at the entrance of the hotel and a little bit bigger elevator to fit the wheel chair .
