Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceNot much, expensive for what it is
Basic but very good! The room was much larger than I expected, well equipped, very comfortable and even had a balcony. Overall it was fairly quiet at night. The staff is very friendly and it was easily accessible from the train station (about 10-15 min on the tram).

United KingdomThe breakfast was not really very good. It came in a brown paper bag. To be fair the receptionist did explain this and we could have as much coffee as we wanted. I'd suggest just go to a nearby cafe instead.
The room was clean and comfortable. It was good value for money for Geneva. The location was slightly away from the centre but still within walking distance. We received a free tram pass in advance of our visit but only used it once. The hotel is a good choice if you don't want to pay the top prices that other hotels in Geneva seem to charge.

United KingdomAlthough not sweltering, the room was quite warm. This didn't stop me from sleeping but did mean that any water stored in the room became warm. A small refrigerator in the room if only to keep water cold would have been a huge bonus.
A very good sized and well appointed room with a large comfortable bed, ample storage space, plenty of power points. The power points required Swiss-sized plugs and normal "European" to UK plug adapters did not fit, but reception could supply the correct adapters for a deposit of 20CHF each repayable on return. The room's windows could be opened, but better still there was a door to the balcony. There was no aircon, but the room had a large ceiling fan which was sufficient for the time I was there. The property is located on a quiet road about 100m from various tram stops but the tram-lines do not run past the property (this is good as they can be quite noisy). The bathroom was well appointed and the shower worked well, but did take a couple of minutes for the hot water to reach the floor I was on. The lift to the fourth floor was large enough fom me, but might be a bit cramped for a family and all of their luggage. The person on the reception desk was delightful providing a lot of information about the city and good recommendations regarding places to eat and things to see.

United KingdomThe room can be quite warm on hot days, which with a fan is not too big an issue, but it does mean that bottles of water (or any other drinks) stored in the room become warm quite quickly and water from the tap is cool rather than cold. A refrigerator in the room (even a small one) would be a big plus.
A large room with a large comfortable double bed. The room was equipped with a television and tea/coffee making facilities (although no decaffeinated coffee (not a problem always carry my own). The bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful or gentle depending on which shower-head was selected. Being on the fifth floor the hot water took a while to arrive in the basin, but was hot enough once it did. The room had one fixed window and one opening window both of which could be shuttered. There was also a door which could be opened onto a balcony. There was no aircon, but was a ceiling fan which operated quietly. There was ample storage space both in a doored closet and open shelving. There was a table and two chairs for dining or working, but no power-point near the table, so some trailing wires were necessary. There was a safe for valuables within the closet. The room was generally quiet at night, but a refuse collection truck arrived in the street at 7:30 a.m. each day and could be noisy. The property is located quite a distance from the city centre, but transport links (trams, trolley-busses and busses are frequent and numerous. The area is well served by shops and eating places, which are a bit less expensive than those nearer the city centre.

UkraineNothing in particular. Maybe an extra chair would be nice to keep all the belongings, but otherwise, it was great.
I had a great experience with staying at Primadom Aparthotel during 3 nights of my trip to Geneva. I had a private room with a shared bathroom, which was always clean and tidy. The location is perfect, it's close to get to the city center and the Lake by public transport or if you like walking. There is also a nice coffee available for guests.
