Dinner at the hotel was just meh, and overpriced for what it was. I expected more considering the hotel itself. restaurant next door was much better.

the hotel pool was nice, although a little cooler then I would have liked. the construction outside blocked some of the views of the mountains from the pool. staff was wonderful and helped me with my bags when I arrived. parking was just downstairs although there isn't enough parking dedicated to the hotel close by. Breakfast as huge and well stocked. restaurant staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel but too hot. No way to turn the temperature down so we had to keep the window wide open to let the winter air in. The pool is great and the breakfast excellent. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The Rooms get very hot by the Heating Even in winter. The only Option is to leave the Windows Open, since it can‘t be turned down properly.

Very convenient Location for a Ski vacation in Andermatt, also arriving by Train. Very good Breakfast.

We did not enjoy the spa and the pool. Sauna: Sauna was too bright (lighting) with big windows, so it was not comfortable to be naked there in particular when it is crowded at 5pm. Swimming suits are forbidden in the spa but some people still wear them. Also there were not many infrastructure in the spa (mostly two saunas and a hamam). Pool: temperature of the water but mostly of the room was too cold to be enjoyable in Winter. Most people stay only 15 minutes and leave because the room temperature is a bit cold.

1) Spa does not have a whirlpool or hot tub. For a ski destination, this is expected. 2) The ski room was not well planned. Arriving by car, you have a long way to get to it.

Our mirror was missing in the master bathroom. When I called and informed the front desk they said it would be taken care of but it wasn’t. When I called again about it I was told they couldn’t find it and I could switch apartments but that would have been very difficult for my family of 5 so we made due but I asked for a little courtesy like maybe a drink on the house but they couldn’t do anything for me, instead they kept saying I can change apartments but that would have been such a bigger expense and inconvenience for all. Also one morning I ordered 2 Mimosas and it cost 8 CHF and the next morning it cost 14 CHF each and I felt the waitress was prejudice to Americans. I spoke to her in German quietly (I am German but my family is American) asking about the price but she responded loud in English and even went out of her way to look for receipts to show me that the waitress from the day before made a mistake 😩

Access to the gondola you have to walk through the parking lot. No quick way to get there via shuttle also not clear in the big parking garage where to exactly go to get to the gondola.
