Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

That there was no coffee facilities in the room. The galley on the floor was ok but not as convenient as in room facilities.

The rooms are lovely and quirky, but a little impractical for us which was personal preference. In the standard room the edges of the bed are boxed in and you have to be careful to manoeuvre around without banging your shins, but this wouldn’t be something that would prevent us returning.
Great location, very clean and staff friendly! Would definitely return. Very clean and nice to have aircon, great nights sleep. Cocktails on the rooftop bar were nice too!

I did not like that the check in was on the 7 floor and the hallways were super dark - also shower would spill over on floor by toilet

Check-in and getting your luggage takes forever - the staff is usually 1-2 people and they`re busy. They should introduce better rates for solo travelers.
A very nice, cool, hip hotel. Great breakfast, good price. Loved the lobby and the bar areas, as well as the terrace. Very comfy rooms and beds. Quiet despite being fully booked and noisy streets nearby.

The small room, very hot/humid.
Location great. 1st stay room ok, 2nd stay room very small. Staff extremely helpful and polite. Clean hotel, cleaning is of very good standard. Very hot and stuffy in the small room.

We didn’t get any info on check in. We luckily saw a comment on google about check in being on the rooftop. You have to find a building then walk around to find the elevator to check in.

The rooms were very clean! The staff was so friendly and kind. The live music up stairs was amazing! The entrance to the hotel is super cool. They did a great job! It’s a very modern stay. I really enjoyed it. The location is great, just weird that’s it’s in a mall.

The first room I was given had a problem with the air-conditioning. After an attempt to fix it which failed they changed the room for me, and all was fine! The stuff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful! The hotel is different, very automated but with friendly human touch and few unexpected surprises which males you feel more at home! Perfect location very comfortable would definitely go back again or any other from the Ruby chain!

It’s a bit unusual in layout. The coffee/tea stations are not in the rooms, but in a central ‘galley’ , one per each floor. It’s not bad, but unusual. The sink in the room and the glass shower (there is a curtain on the outside for privacy from bedroom) is also a bit unusual.

Boiling water urn didn’t work. No jug available. Only given one towel and one pillow even though there were two of us on the booking. Water from shower leaks through to toilet floor. Children charged the same amount for breakfast as adults.
Great location, close to all attractions, only a few minutes walk. Friendly staff, rooms immaculately clean and spacious.

- quite small room, with no place to put your clothes. - very expensive breakfast
- The location is perfect! Close to the lake, the train station (10 minutes), the tram and bus stations. - Nice TV with multiple channels, you can also connect and stream your own stuff from mobile. - Very diverse & tasty breakfast - good sound isolation from outside ( if you're next to the elevator you might hear weak noises) - besides soap/shampoo they also provide conditioner and body lotion - the room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed every time

No view but location is quiet and so convenient for transport, offices, shops and the lake.
Easy access in centre of town. Well run hotel with relaxed modern vibe. Staff were very helpful.
