Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Quality of finishes was a little sloppy. Lounge chairs were dirty and uncomfortably hard in the room and in the lobby. Zurich is an expensive city, but I wish the nightly rate was 20% less for the value.
Breakfast was nice. The breakfast staff person was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Hotel was well located for walking everywhere and reaching the train station. Beds were comfortable and room was large. Quality coffee machines were very appreciated.

Check-in was not very efficient, and we were hungry at the time which made the wait feel longer. The room doesn't have built-in AC, but there's a mobile one that works.
Good location, very easy to access from HB. Spacious and clean room. Breakfast was good too. Not a bad choice for a last-minute find due to flight cancellation.

Aircon was barely effective. Very hot in room. No refrigerator in room - we were told it was a minibar only, basically esky. Could not keep drinks or milk cold. Ice was provided in cereal bowl not ice bucket so melted quickly. Reception staff did not greet you when passing or returning to hotel. Not very friendly.
Very clean and spacious room. Great breakfast with variety. Breakfast staff were helpful and friendly. Great location for train travelers. Close to restaurants, supermarket and bars.

The room had only one power outlet with normal European socket. There were no charging points near the bed. The lights were too dim for my taste.
The location is excellent with tram, bus and train stations nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out process were super easy and hassle free. The room was very clean and with good amenities. The breakfast was very good. There is an option to store the luggage after checkout.

Our room was very hot and the air-con not very efficient. Windows can be opened which is good, although being located in the city centre, it was fairly noisy through the night. We only stayed one night so not a big deal but I would have raised it if we were there longer and needed to get some sleep!
The hotel location was perfect for exploring the city. Spacious rooms and all very clean. Breakfast was good, with lots of different options.

I really wanted to give this hotel a glowing remark. It had a lot of great small touches- yoga mat, umbrella to use, cushion seating outside. Nice breakfast. But the air conditioning was broken. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is Important.

The air conditioning in the room could be better. The AC is working like a fan and definitely needs to be replaced. At night it was convenient but any time spent in the room during day time was extremely Difficult.
The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is superb giving you easy access to the central train station that connects you to everywhere. The room space is great too!

The bathroom has glass walls and door, which is weird when traveling with a friend. Lack of electrical plugs (but one!). The AC is not strong enough during warm days. Mattress is 7/10.

The hallways lacked security, and the room bolts didn't lock, which they said was for fire safety considerations.
The rooms were an excellent size for a single traveller. The bed was comfortable, and options for blankets and pillows were provided according to your preference. The room also had an umbrella, which helped on a rainy day. Breakfast had good options, and the lady staff serving breakfast was super friendly and cheerful. The location is great, within a 3-minute walk to Zurich, HB, and right next door is the Polybahn to ETH, from where you can see a nice panoramic view of Zurich City. All Zurich attractions are within walking distance.

provide some hot meat for breakfast, i.e. sausage, beacon etc provide bottle of water (in glass bottle) everyday for each room.
The breakfast of this hotel is good, but no meat provided until you ask for, that meat is cold cut only, this hotel only provide 1 bottle of water (in glass bottle, that is good) no matter how many days you stay, The A/C unit in my room is not working at all. but electric fan provided, that is good (I hope they will fix the A/C unit soon)

When we opened the windows to let in some cool air, there was quite a lot of background noise (though not surprising, given the inner city location).
Very convenient location in the old city, close to Zurich HBF. The room was spacious, especially for such a central city location. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
