The bathroom would benefit from a 'block-out' wall to block light from awaking the other occupant of the room, if used during the night Unfortunately there was a good deal of street noise from nearby bars until the early hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings

The breakfast was very good, especially the coffee. The service was great. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the restaurants and bars in the old part of town and easy walking distance to trams and the train station.

The room got quite warm at night. There was no air-conditioning and the blower/heater created a very dry and dusty air. But I was able to open the window and cool the room - so slept quite well in spite of the street sounds. Other than that I had no complaints as my stay was quite pleasant overall. This hotel seems expensive compared to similar in other European cities - but then Zurich is generally an expensive city, so all hotels in Zurich are probably pricier when compared to other cities.

Excellent location in the old town area. About 10 min walk from the main railway station. Many restaurants, convenience stores, Starbucks etc. within a short walking distance. Charming street. The hotel room was small (~12 m2), so I was not expecting any luxury, but the room was so nicely arranged and decorated! Had every convenience required for a single occupant - arm chair fridge/minibar, coffee machine, kettle, hair drier, umbrella, enough charging points etc. I have never been more comfortable in such a small room - it was well lit and ventilated by a window. The staff at check-in and check-out were very courteous and prompt to attend. I left early in the morning before the buffet breakfast started, but the staff at check-out kindly offered me some fruit / croissants to take - departed with a good feeling!

However, I think you are much more expensive than The Plaza nearby which is where I usually stay - also there was no phone charging spot in the room and I couldn't switch one of the lights off - I had had a very long day and couldn't be bothered to get someone to look at it at eleven o'clock at night. I slept with it on.

I like the location - I usually stay at the Plaza nearby but they were fuly booked. The hotel felt very welcoming and without exception, all the staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Nothing really, maybe just a suggestion, to add more warm food/meat options aside from eggs

-Walkability Just few minutes from HB Zurich. Trams stop is practically at the Hotel street. Public transport to go everywhere is just on the corner. The iconic Polybahn entrance is also around the corner next to Starbucks -Rooms Spacious enough for two persons. It has everything we needed including a great bathroom. Clean room -First impressions were really good. We came early than the check-in time, asked if we could just store our luggages, come back at 15 hrs but the guy in reception David checked for us if the room is ready so we can already get in and it was. Our planning for exploring Zurich city was done quicker because of this. -Noteworthy details Coffee & tea in the room -The airco was already set up when we got in -Hospitable, friendly reception both the day and evening staff which was a rare thing from our experienced. This was our 5th Hotel in our Switzerland trip. The best so far in all aspect. We felt very welcome as guest.

The shampoo and body wash canisters are not working well in my second stay in the hotel with total three rooms. Hardly I could get the liquid out

Hotel room was decent, view of the street but if you don’t smoke and you leave your windows open long enough, the cigarette smell will make its way into your room but the good news is they have double pane windows to keep the noise out.

The breakfast was good, your basic breads and jams, some eggs sausage, and mini waffles, different juice options, milk options, cereal, and a barista to make you a coffee of choice. The location was really great, only a 10 min walk to the train station, but the river, food stores, restaurants and shopping were just steps away, including a Starbucks. Staff was super friendly, easy check in and check out process and they have bikes on site for use to explore the city. They have an umbrella in your room, coffee set up, and a backpack for purchase.

Noisy room by the street, limited breakfast options when i arrived at 8.30am (empty plates in buffet not replaced, many dirty tables so nowhere to sit). I realise this is peak hour breakfast time, but it must be just about every day of the year so planning for this seems possible?

Clean with excellent location to train station, river, old town and many eateries. Nespresso machine in room.

The beds were not comfortable. The elevator was very small.

Location is great. Room has spare umbrellas and backpacks for your use, which came in very handy with all the rain. The breakfast was outstanding. One room had a nice shower, the other room had a very high tub, my mum could not get in to take a shower. Beds quite thin. One room had street noise, a fight broke out and woke everyone up, the other room was very quiet.

Only issue was it was quite warm in the room. There was ax but did not seem to have cold air. Nevertheless we were quite comfortable and would definitely stay there again.
