Shower dated and door broken. Towels & hairdryer worn. Aircon did not work ( only heating) - leaving window open was noisy. No socket close to bed and overall dated in places

The mattress is spring instead of foam. It seems already too old. The climate & air circulation inside room is poor. Receptionists did not greet the guests with smile, seems having bad day due to winter season.

We did not like the attitude of the female staff at the reception. We did not like the room cleaning at all. The cleaning staff did not make our bed, and if they did, it was extremely shabby and left both the windows open in winter! The washroom was not cleaned nicely. The trash was not taken out, and the room floor was not cleaned. When told to the lady at reception just had one reply, ok. We stayed here for 3 nights. Trash was taken out and the windows were shut, but everything else remained the same.

We liked the location. Breakfast was okay. The only staff we liked were the one doing the breakfast service and an older man at the reception on the morning we checked out. All we want to see is a pleasant smile, and that makes our day.

I didn’t get the room that I have booked. In my booking, I reserved two standard twin room, one for my parents and one for me and my brother. When checking in, a staff gave me one standard twin room, and the other one quite much smaller than the description on booking. I contacted the staff, they claimed to confirm that my smaller room is in the category “standard twin room”, but it is booking.com’s mistake, that the description doesn’t match with the room. Moreover, other standard twin rooms, that matched with the description, were already taken. I don’t know, but this is for me unacceptable. Because we paid a lot and excepted to get the room as we reserved. So, if you guys booked this room at this hotel, be aware that you might get the room that I got. The room number is either 402 or 404, I’m not sure which one. Good luck.

The rooms were overly warm, we needed to open the windows to let the cool November air in, but that let the outside noise in.

The staff were friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the “breakfast lady” was kind, friendly and a pleasure to interact with each morning!

Excellent service. They gave us a peluche for our daugther. The position very central, the room big and comfortable. Good breakfast. In general a great option with good value for money with excellent quality to visit Zurich.

Maybe more choice in meat / smoked salmon at breakfast? This was advertised as "on request" but all there was was sliced ham.

Friendly and helpful staff, free bottles of water and coffee in reception, very clean rooms with comfortable bed / linen and choice of pillows. Super location, 5 mins from train station and right in the middle of the old town.
