The air condition in the room is really ineffective, and the reception staff explained to us that when the temperature outside is below 18 degrees, the air condition in the room stops cooling!! In reality, it was very hot in the room, and we had to sleep with the windows open. The hotel's gym is in a nearby building outside the hotel, and is very poorly equipped.

A luxurious hotel located near the center of the town of Spiez and overlooking Lake Thun and Spiez Castle. For car owners, the hotel has a large underground parking lot at a very reasonable cost of 12 francs for 24 hours, but you have to reserve the parking lot in advance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped us a lot in planning our trip around the Thun and Brienz lakes. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The toilet and shower are separated, so two people can use them at the same time, which saves a lot of time. The breakfast is excellent and rich. The hotel has a heated pool and spa.

The staff always made me feel welcome and appreciated, very personable and lots of attention to detail. Special thanks to Alex ant the front desk and Roman at the Spa for their kindness. The spa is wonderful and included with great sauna and steam and a very good size panoramic pool. The feel of the hotel is elegant and classic. Wonderful piano music with dinner. Incredible breakfast with wonderful staff.

A lovely beautiful hotel, we can see the lake and the Spiez Castle from the balcony. Interesting collection of the wine cellar.

I like to have a real door and more privacy for the bathroom but I realized that in Switzerland it is customary to have a glass door for bathroom.

The view of the room breakfast was great , they have great spa with pool and jacuzzi! Very clean.

Staff at breakfast service can be more friendly (older man and blond woman are missing smile, looking unfriendly sometimes), bed could be bigger.

Great wellness (two pools and jacuzzi), good location (close to all the main sightseeing), parking in garage.

The pillow is really soft, would have been nice to have a pillow with better support.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, they tried very hard to fulfill all my needs and requests. Everything was super well maintained and comfortable. The spa area is also super comfortable. Breakfast was also great and with a huge options. I’ve nothing to fault the hotel.

The spa facilities are amazing, breakfast is included and sooo delicious, they are dog-friendly with a wonderful garden and quick access to a perfect lakeside walk for the dog. Amazing panoramic views in the restaurant, and the best spa I’ve been to in Europe!

It met all our needs, so no complaints.

Location was perfect. The staff was helpful and check in was quick. The room was clean, well stocked, and quiet. The View was amazing! The breakfast was delicious. Parking convenient. We had the best time and would stay here again!

We took a direct train from Milan Central to Spiez. The hotel is an easy 15 minutes stroll downhill from the train station. The view looks down the valley toward the lake a few hundred yards away. The indoor heated pool and spa facilities are wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The ferry is located a short walk down the hill next to a small castle and a lovely herb garden. If you're going towards Interlaken you can take the ferry or it's a quick train ride.

Whilst we were in the lounge area a heads of departments meeting was taking place ..surely inappropriate in public area to have a staff meeting?

The bed & pillow --> too soft.

The design & decoration of the room is excellent. However the bed & pillow are too soft. The BFS was also excellent with variety of food. The location & environment was superb as there was the beautiful garden to walk and also the pier was not very far. We were impress in the warm and nice service in the restaurant.
