The lift was a bit small, the shampoo was in single use sachets (no more than 1 shower!)

The room was clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helped with an early checkin. We could also leave the bags after checkout for a few hours.

I would have liked to have a fan in the room, soap for the shower, and shampoo and hair conditioner. The soap came in a very small packet that would not allow for more than a face wash. A dispenser on the shower wall would have been helpful. There was not a breakfast provided.

The check in process was easy through the bar. The gentleman (Sanjay?) was very kind, helpful, and efficient in the check in process. Our room was equipped with a Keurig type coffee maker and a pot to heat water. The room had two glasses and two coffee cups with spoons. The room was spacious with many shelves to store items. There were windows that blocked out the sound and also created a cross draft. The shower was very good, easy to get in and out of and a nice shower head that had some pressure.

The hotel is located in the dead city center, surrounded by construction sites a loud tourists. I was on a business trip, would not want to be in this location again.

The room had a water kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine.

Great spot in the middle of the centre, close to shops, restaurants and main attractions in the city. Short walk ca 10min to Zurich train station. Clean and tidy rooms. Comfy beds.

The outside noise.

Location was great, close to lots of restaurants and cafes. The only downside of this hotel was the bar underneath and the noise that came from it. Our room was facing the street and the noise was dreadful. There was also roadworks out the front that started at 6am. I did notice there were earplugs in the room & I wondered why…I soon learnt the walls were paper thin.

- Check-in is at the bar within the same building, which was confusing. If you’re with kids, you have to leave them outside while checking in. - There is no reception. - When we checked in, the fridge still had leftover food inside. I had to go down to the bar to ask them to remove it, and they sent someone the next day to clean it. - A cleaner opened the door while we were inside, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being on the door.

When I came in at 8:30pm I had to scramble around and over very large bags of dirty linen that were waiting in the small entrance passage to the lift. Glad I wasn’t a late check-in as I would never have been able to do that with my luggage. Would have been good to have had a heads up about the roadworks outside (especially as I only booked less than two days before)

Excellent central location and short walk from train station. Small room but with coffee maker and nice bathroom. Comfy bed. Earplugs were a good addition (there were roadworks right outside the hotel next morning first thing - beyond the hotel’s control)

I thought there could be more amenities in the bathroom - shower gel, shampoo etc. and our sink was clogged.

The room was basic but had everything you need, it was clean and comfortable. The location is very central, close to the train station, restaurants and lots touristy things to do.

The bath towels were rather poor quality made of synthetic fibers - unpleasant to use after shower and not drying the skin well. Mattress was a bit too soft. Housekeeping tried to come in and open the door with their key at 9AM while we were sleeping.

Hotel location is very central, very easy to reach from the train station, almost too good to be true for Zürich. The welcome was very pleasant, instructions were clear, check-out time was generous, room quiet and clean, equipped with everything needed, including a table, a coffee machine, a kettle and a fridge!

There was some noise at night, but nothing extreme.

Overall, the hotel met my expectations based on the previous reviewers. It was 10 minutes walking to train station. The hotel is safe, however the area is quite noisy.

On the night we stayed it was noisy. Loud music all night. Ear plugs were on the bedside table which is a warning that this could be a frequent occurrence. You’ll need your own toiletries as shower gel and shampoo supplied are minimal.

Central location to explore the town. Close to restaurants and cocktail bar. The church bells were ringing as we walked around which I like as a tourist to an old town. Renovated bathroom and bed was comfortable.

The room could have been brighter and cleaner.
