The shower room was in bad condition -the door was not closing properly due to a plastic that was broken previously Our room was a bit small for 3 persons (2 adult and a child)

Well located, nice area with shops,bars and close to the city center and railway station interesting decorations inside the room everything related to the swiss chocolate The choco fountain in the lobby was well appreciated by all of the family The staff was very friendly, helped us with the city cards and some other details

The hotel was quick to take the city tax but didn't offer us the free Lausanne Travel Card (as they should) nor respond to a request for it.

The hotel has seen better days, the common areas could benefit from brightening up, the staff was just OK. The blinds wouldn't completely block the light and when the window was open, strong cooking smells were not pleasant.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the theme of chocolate is whimsical and the chocolate fountain in the lobby was a cute touch. The bed is fine.

A bit more dust on the shelves in the bathroom that I would prefer, or some more dust string on the ceiling. However, my two friends who stayed with me didn't even notice it (my cleaning standards are quite high)

Some maintenance work was scheduled to 10 a.m. and it's totally fine. A prior notification can be made to booked guests so they carry their work elsewhere. Other then that everything was great.

It was cold enough in the room, we were in room 111. The air conditioner (in this case, it was heated with warm air) on the ceiling, I couldn't cope with the cold coming from the window from the street. We turned to the reception desk for an additional portable radiator, and were politely explained to us that oil radiators are prohibited in Switzerland. They politely offered extra blankets.

Very creative interior. The convenient location of the hotel in the city center. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It could have been cleaner - the sink in the kitchenette had not been cleaned and still had food in it, the fridge also had not been cleaned, it also had food spills and smelt unpleasant. There was also hair still in the shower.

The room was big, lots of bench space in the bathroom. Bed was comfy. Gym was great. Staff were very friendly. The local travel pass was handy.

No queue at check in, courteous staff, room (single) small but functional, very clean, bed comfortable, quiet. It is true that there are no shelves for your stuff, just a couple of coat hangers, but I did not need those. I greatly appreciated the little desk and rather comfortable chair, as I needed to do some work on the laptop. I skipped breakfast as it seemed expensive for the little that I eat in the morning.

The heater stopped working late in the evening and when we called they have informed us that reception is closed so we have to wait until tomorrow to be fixed. Also the blanket in the room was very short so our feet where out of the blanket and we froze!

The access after 10.30 pm.. it took sometime to get the door opened at the main entrance.

The hotel is located in the center. Walking distance to go around. The room has everything, safe deposit, water, working table and comfortable bed. The check in information was very clear. I came in the afternoon, so that can do a proper check in. I was so impressed by the check out personnel. The lady helped me out with everything needed, i.e. luggage storage, plastic bag to keep my wet umbrella and book me a taxi to go to the train station. I will come back next time I visit lausanne.
